One thing for sure, as KXD infact had detected slowdown of its business sector as early as the end quarter of 2006 and token restructuring every measures throughout 2007, 2008 and on going till now by reducing its debt burden progressively from quarter to quarter,  looking into its business own sector which could generated higher margin also doing fund raising by note issue conversion though it turned out to be toxic issue perhaps (as experiencing steep dilution of its share price and NAV from about Sgd. 0.16, 0.14 to Sgd. 0.01, 0.066 respectively). However, despite any bad news towards KXD, and I still have very strong faith to KXD of its strong recovery and its future business and management ability of early revamping and restructuring its business model since begining of the year 2007 will be fruitful and successful. Hence, I 'll keep que buying at Sgd. 0.005 every day. May God bless every KXD's shareholders and genuine investors.

Remember, all sort of global governments' rescue packages as well as financial stimulated programmes and measures past and on going process are also to be the most progressive and in unprecendented magnitude then we have ever seen!!! So........

Below 55/- Our pump price has not even shed even 1/3 it px, now trading at about S$1.70cents after discount, room for further discount....Ya.

Prices have now shed about 60 percent since scaling historic highs above 147 dollars in July on mounting evidence of slowing global economic growth and energy demand.

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20081112/tts-commodities-energy-oil-price-c1b2fc3.html

On London's InterContinental Exchange (ICE), Brent North Sea crude for delivery in December plunged to 54.92 dollars per barrel -- a level last seen on January 30, 2007. Brent later stood at 55.94 dollar, down 3.14 dollars from Monday.

At the same time, on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), light sweet crude for December tumbled to 58.32 dollars, the lowest level since March 21, 2007. The contract was later down 2.91 dollars at 59.50 dollars.

Crude oil prices on Tuesday extended earlier losses after Wall Street fell in opening trade, with investor sentiment unsettled by fears about a collapse of General Motors and more poor corporate news amid the credit crisis.

European stock markets also closed sharply lower on Tuesday as news of more corporate problems highlighted concerns about the spreading damage from the global credit crunch to the underlying world economy.

If you think so, by all means, go ahead, you yourself can keep on selling your holding or short selling throughout 2009 then. I am sure no one stops you doing that!

Profits down, Losses, Jobs Cut, Pays & Bonuses Cut, More Credit Cards Default, More  Housing & Veh Loans Default, Negative cashflows that will eventually force Companies to call it a day...etc..etc...and worst of all no one knows how BIG is the Black Hole!!!!!!!

If all the above are not solved, the Stock Market will continue to head south. Simple as that!!!! Cheers!

Consolidation exercise prior to company share buy back scheme is not to the advantage of all minor share holders in the recent market condition, I suppose!

Laulan      ( Date: 13-Nov-2008 09:48) Posted:

Abterra will "change" its name to Abterra Holdings, and consolidate all existing shares in the ratio of 20 to 1,  That means if you have less than 20 lots at the time of conversion you practically will be landed with odd lots of less than 1,000 shares.  The only solution for those holding less than 20 lots is to buy to make it up to 20 lots which on consolidation will give 1,000 shares, otherwise you will be trading in the units shares.

Personally I believe that the consolidation exercise is the best way out for Abterra because this reduces the huge free float to about 260,000,000 shares (just an estimate) and will be favoured by investors since its NAV per new share will be very much higher (20 times higher).

More penny stocks should follow this example!

That is the common thinking, however, this time could be reversible process! Up to you to believe it, since this time is an unprecedented financial crunch ERA.(Back to small is beautiful perhaps).
