Arab oil $$$ in trouble liao, WB help..no way, biggies is too proud, too big a trouble problem may be mis-handle, cannot have two tiger in one mountain or too many so call talented on top, one day might climb over their head...very ugly lohh...must wait loh....if can wait..it help liao.

we got a few 3rd gen biggies built up liao, not very powerful yet, b co's.....maybe 4th gen biggies can help at later stage....year 2020 onward

SWF is traditionally lossy in nature.  There are plenty of example from Malaysia to MiddleEast to China.

While the fund is made from blood and sweat, yes, our forebear toil and sweat to build up. It can be spent in weeks !!!  When currency trader attack Thailand in 98, their foreign reserve is finished in 3 weeks....Indonesia 2 weeks !!! Korea too and Korea again ??

Probably garments are thinking that if fund is parked, it will become stale.....

Investment is always full of pit holes, no one make perfect 10 out of 10. Just make sure u have 1 or 2 star winner out of the 10 will make overall good gain. If temasek can perform like WB, we will have free healthcare, free education and free water and electricity. Temasek should beg WB to come singapore and help us manage the fund when it comes to overseas investing.

What the objective of SWF fund in Singapore? To invest and made alot alot money to do what, so that figure look very good on a piece of paper that we have strong reserve.

Our forefather cannot use, we cannot use in time of crisis, our next generation cannot use as it is preserve for the next next generation. So when can we use the SWF. Good times cannot use SWF, bad times also cannot use SWF. So when is the right time to use SWF. We can never never use the SWF as we dun know when the next crisis will come. (So i really dun understand why must we keep SWF, when no one can ever use it)

Should have a condition in the event of a crisis, we can use a certain % of the SWF. When crisis over, we top-up with the increase % on the surplus we have.

Poking some fun at the same time. Been to vegas a few times for holiday. Seem like long stretch of strip club and casino goes hand in hand.

General view only. Seem like Ang Moh win money go strip club or dance club to celebrate.Also got personal experience of young American Ang Moh begging me for some change for a burger outside McDonald after been wipe out by casino. When think of it quite funny, ah moh begging asian for money. Sure create opportunity for prostitution when the casino built, some people will hang around there and pretending to be guest and solicit XXX business deal.

Personal View, if can, i wish all the theme parks and hotel can built in singapore but minus the casino best ( i noe not possible).

Gambling is like a virus, will spread to our younger generation due to curiosity. young as in (20 -25 years old). Will place bet that some will be wipe clean by the casino,out of the 6 million population.

Singapore banks still committed to loan the balance 3billion, i though banks will usually impose stop loss mechanism at the first sign of crisis. Banks are become generous to sands (who may annouce default on loan), then how come they become strict to singaporean taking home loan by taking education into consideration. (So funny, hard to understand the logic of how bank running business nowsdays)

Sands is a big customer that banks cannot afford to lose perhaps. (Sands will never get funding from US government, as gambling is consider vice in US).

Singapore is promoting gambling industries, it is seen as tourism dollar not vice. If Vegas strip show is generating good tourism dollar, why are we not considering it. Also can create many high paying job for singapore man and women, pole dancing is consider a art to some.  (Playing with words no tiring meh). Few hundred dollars a day wages as stripper, will benefit singapore as it create new opportunies for people to work and attract tourism dollar. Maybe better pay than some white collar manager, why not consider also vice same as gambling.

So meaning we will just keep contributing from our surplus in good times and more in bad times. And my forefather, me and my next generation will not be able to use the fund. (End of the world then can use i see) sob

Can advise me 40years of history which year we have 12-15% jobless rate, and this figure can be change (using some creative method and portion some as structural unemployment).

Got war i may not survive, cause i will be recall to frontline fighting. Maybe get hit by bullet or bomb. (SWF no use to me, when i am dead) Big sob. My wife and children will starve (cause SWF use to fund war no money left ler must start to contribute again)
