So how much u lost for yr this cut loss trade?

choonmng      ( Date: 29-Sep-2010 20:59) Posted:

Sold off today :( when price break 0.185, emotionally in panic mode. Price now just resting on 100 day MA.

See tomorrow action how... if 0.18 support then will buy back.

Now feel that should not have sold off at all.. coz its a good stock hope it open 0.18 tomorow with no gap up (which it shouldnt)

so which other counters at today's prices u think present better potential?

freeme      ( Date: 28-Sep-2010 15:08) Posted:

hard to say.. as i always mention, we cant always get the bottom.. n if u follow my thread, i always buy in phases.. but im nt gg to get raffles edu at 29cts nw since there r others which present better potential.. so just put them in watchlist until i gt nothing else to buy then consider..

bh704428      ( Date: 28-Sep-2010 14:55) Posted:

freeme, i saw u posted that Raffles edu is in yr watchlist again, do u think RE will drop back to 28-27.5 cts in the short-term?

Or u think perhaps 28.5 cts might be the lowest retracement RE fall to this time?

Currently, i sold off many counters, now 90% in cash

from yr reply, is it u will sell off yr lots at breakeven or small profit at say 54.5-55 cts? or u think still got very good chance to hit 58-60 cts this 1, 2 weeks?

freeme      ( Date: 26-Sep-2010 00:41) Posted:

20lots... hope the fri dow rally give them a boast to push it up b4 the issuing starts.. i think got chance.. 5 for 1 not too dilutive, at the same time the purpose is to expand business..

I cannot afford to whack few 100lots per trade.. maybe when i rch ur lvel of wealth..

minor update:

falcon issue warrants at abt 6% discount of 53.5ct.. not too bad.. n depend on how mkt wan to play.. bascially, its about time for them to move up liao.. nw comes the warrants issues.. as im using cfd to hold this, i might have to release it for small loses if  mkt dun like it.. then i might go in wif cash to buy it..and sell off my cfd.. i believe in their potential at current px..

des_khor      ( Date: 25-Sep-2010 10:29) Posted:

Penny must in out fast with 300 to 500 lots per trade.... like RE I in out 300 lots just 3 cents profit already make you 8 over k richer ! Still the same please play safe and don't chase highly speculated one.... if hand itchy can in out less than 100 lots for those control by BB one ! When crash you will run no road !!

in another forum, i saw got 1 forumner ask another that posted he wan hold his RE for 2 yrs, when that guy ask him why hold this stock for so long, he replied becos have 1 simple reason, he said RE will hit higher than 60 cts by early 2012

freeme      ( Date: 20-Sep-2010 21:33) Posted:

2 simple reasons:

1st, im using cfd to play this counter.. therefore, all my counters using cfd im holding short to mid term only.

2nd, bec their fundamental is not as strong yet.. therefore, when there is good profit liao, i rather take it and go for other counters that have not yet move.

freeme      ( Date: 20-Sep-2010 20:43) Posted:

my tp for raffles edu is abt 31-32cts. I will sell off 1/2... then the other 1/2 may sell around 34cts..

This is for current moment.. tp is subjected to changes when things come about.. ;)

Re: Programmed 1 lotter distribution

by PPG on August 30th, 2009, 4:52 pm

Let me cite an example to help out in understanding. :P

For example, I am a fund manager and I need to collect XX lots of a counter today at a certain price.

So I will place a buy q probably matching or slightly less than the sell q size (to create illusion that bears are stronger).

Let's say 300 lots.

I will then start my 1 lot sell down program. Effectively, I'm selling into my own buy q.

The purpose of this sell down program will create the illusion that some one is selling down. Weak and kan keong holders will starts to sell down to my buy q.

Let's say my program sell down will selldown 1 lot every min. So in 1 hour I will sell back myself 60 lots and effectively collect 240 lots, assuming my buy q gets snapped up fully or exhausted.

Now you will observe most selldown program upon nearing the buy q exhausted soon, the buy q will most of the time be miraculously replenished with small amounts slowly.

Sometimes the collector will allow it to fully retrace from previous collection point and collect at 1 bid down also.

Thanx.  Like the "CPBSP" explanation. Well, after the  "constipated" buying of  one by one lots, finally BIG buy of 1303 lots after closing at 17:05:01.  Must be having fun.

you are crazy.

u did not see I wrote ' for casual reference meh'.

Also I noticed for the past few years certain brokerages, their tp is very accurate while other brokerages are very excellent reverse indicators. One need to know the tp is given by which brokerage, example I purposely bot cosco at 1.20 when got 1 brokergae gave a sell call with tp of 60odd cts a few mths ago & i bot yzj at 1.30 when another brokergae gave a buy call on yjz at the same time, I'm still holding both my cosco & yzj as of now

AK_Francis      ( Date: 15-Sep-2010 01:15) Posted:

If u serious, joke a side, closed 0.51 since 1 Sep till today of 0.525. High 0.54 n low 0.52, vol 4k. Wat u think?Dun trust the MFT's TP on low n high. You hv to decide yourself. On the other hand, if u keep on asking, then myself give your money to fund manger to manage for u, solve all the hassles.

PS. If MFT says, low TP is 0.49 n high is 0.55, so wat u can do?
