Smrt is moving while Sats is station, so Sats drops speed lower than Smrt. Anticipating to do money cost averaging at about Sgd. 1.68.(CAVEAT EMPTOR)

Dear Jackjames,

Market correction and a lot of short selling practices day by day so far, what shall we do?

brother Hulumas,

May I know what counter you are on paper gain ? How come all the counters you hold are on paper loss? you only start to buy shares in year 2007 ?

Dear Idesa168,

Take note your good suggestion. I 'll do accordingly. Thank you. Any other suggestion?

idesa168      ( Date: 01-Aug-2008 11:09) Posted:

Honestly nobody can tell you what to do when you held on the counters since $1.00 range. But think it this way, with $XXXX amount of money held in this counter, which is very likely to melt further, why dun you sell and plough the $$ into some high yield dividends counters like REIT, SPC, etc. If those counters plummet, at least there is divvy to look forward to. CSM is not giving good divvy, or if they are giving out since they are in red now! The recovery to $1.00 will be far away, dun know when!...FYI, REITS are going strong right now! Cheers!

So, at half price Sgd. 0.50, it will be good to long then!

Another big big paper loss I have encountered to this counter. My average price still sky high at Sgd. 0.92.

Any suggestion? Buy? Hold? Sell?

Huh, another big loss counter recently, which I think very cheap enough entering price at Sgd. 2.16 a few days ago. every 20% down from this price I try to do money cost averaging, my next buying target will be around Sgd.1.73. I do not think, it will reach this price level I suppose.

I am sure in the shorter term that you may think, I suppose! Remember Capital land after changing the name from DBS land jump from <Sgd. 1.00 to far more than Sgd. 5.00 within 2 years, was not it? The most strongest retailer business is in PRC with the world most number of population and strongest economic growth and purchasing power right now... Hence, in short doing MALL related business is very very prospective there!!! Example: "CARREFOUR" is doing very successful and ever expanding there.

Wow Hulumas, that's ambitious. How long u planning to wait? Haha.

Then again, I think it's a fair valuation. You will understand if you see their properties for yourself. Really good locations and traffic.

It goes without saying, that is why I am vested for mid to long term, with my target exit price to Sgd.5.00

hi guys, new at this forum...quite interesting and enlightening comments..i think i do agree with jackjames. did some homework on this counter...Q2 results going to release on 30 Jul and likely good since Q1 was positive and Q2 will include newly acquired assets (I think).  The next div payout will be in Sep (last year payout was 0.0327/share in Sep). at 1.05 level, div yield should be about 6.5%...with long term acquisition plan in place the share price hopefully should follow the footsteps of CMT in Singapore...

can anyone enlighten me on the current analysts' views on China real estate economy and REIT prospects? many thanks.

Dear Aleoleo,

When market is up, why should you from time to time full of suspicion.... is it a trap? Several times in the past yes, this time could be different in the environment of crude oil price hike has come to an end (could be in long term downward trend), inflation fading, equity market valuation at comfortable and affordable very very low level, short selling activities diminish substantially, also a good indication of privatisation is more and more on the card as if becoming a trend recently (Due to its listed companies price all at artificially depressed very low price level of every individual listed company, as such it is no longer feasible in SGX listing to maintain for). I strongly believe that TURN AROUND of global equity market is just commencing!!!(CAVEAT EMPTOR)

aleoleo      ( Date: 23-Jul-2008 16:36) Posted:

wah..... what happen today ? why STI can up so much ? because of what ? or this is a trap ? any idea ?????

Dear Jackjames,

Aiyo, why did not you tell me earlier, while I ask about any suggestion? No problem, I 'll recover tomorrow if the price do not move up so much. By the way at what price should we be able to exit, as such I 'll not sell at lower price! (For your estimated holding time horizon of mine) I do not mind holding for about three weeks to one month from today for this counter).
