This few days seem like a correction, & people panic & throw their share. Its human factor again (fear).

But todays seems like correction is over & we can see some recovery.

Hopefully we see a better Genting tomorrow. Cheers.

Bullish harami pattern suggests more near term upside

- SembCorp Industries is likely to see more upside potential in the near term following the formation of a bullish harami pattern at its 2-month uptrend line.

- With the technical indicators (RSI, Stochastic and MACD) showing healthy uptrend momentum over the past few months and OBV indicator signaling a sharp bullish reversal recently, they suggest that SembCorp could continue to climb higher in the days ahead.

- We expect the recovery to find an initial resistance at $3.33 (2009 high), breaking which, we see the next resistance at $3.74 (minor peak in end Sep ‘08)

Maybe bc of this news:

DMG & Partners Securities said it has upgraded its rating on the property sector to “overweight” from “neutral”, saying the recovery in housing demand looks sustainable as foreign buyers are slowly returning. City Developments (CIT SP), the city’s second biggest developer, gained 1.5% to $9.08. Allgreen Properties (AG SP), the developer controlled by Malaysian billionaire Robert Kuok, rose 4.2% to 99 cents. Keppel Land (KPLD SP), partly owned by Keppel Corp., jumped 3.4% to $2.42.

Emm that an attractive entry. Good to wait if it will come true. But definately not buying any above 0.90 now. Too expensive....

Anyway buy with yr own judgement. Believe all share buyer in this forum do yr own study b4 going in fr any share.

Today STI surge pass 2400. N everyone start to throw. Human factor again. Worry can't sustain, thus alot clear their share stock.

Today drop is as expected since friday.

N do agreed that economy still yet to recover. So have to be extra careful when investing in share.

2nd quarter result may show us a better estimate if economy will recover by end of the year.

Emm but analsyt keep downgrade Keppel Corp leh. This really makes me reluctant to go fr them first, although i like this company alot. Its a good company.

Maybe for long term loh, if want to invest this baby.

This news below may provide ST extra muscle to edge its share value higher....Smiley

 

ST Engineering today announced that its electronics arm, ST Electronics, has been awarded a contract to provide the Advanced Combat Man System (ACMS) to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). The project which is worth over $100 million will start immediately and is expected to be completed by 2012.

The ACMS is a 3rd Generation Networked Warrior system fully equipped with advanced C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence) and network capabilities.

The ACMS is a joint development effort that started in 1998 among the Defence Science and Technology Agency, the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and ST Electronics with the support of Singapore Technologies Kinetics (ST Kinetics) in the area of weapon sub-system. It features innovations from ST Electronics and ST Kinetics. For this contract, ST Kinetics is a subcontractor to ST Electronics.

The development of the ACMS focuses on two key areas — to ensure seamless integration of individual soldier’s capabilities and to integrate the soldier as part of a network-centric force.

The system is aimed at improving the situational awareness, mobility, command and control, lethality and survivability of the soldier, resulting in a significant improvement in his fighting capabilities.

The introduction of the ACMS is a part of SAF’s 3rd Generation Transformation to progressively provide tactical units with network capabilities, which are vital for ensuring mission success. The ACMS allows section commanders and team leaders to become a part of a larger network that is able to tap into the wider resources of the battalion and call for more precise fire support. These sections function not only as fighting units but also as ground sensors, tracking the positions of various forces and feeding images and information back to the command headquarters for enhanced command and control of the battlefield.

$1.50 quite low (rem. the RIGHT is at $1.30). A very good entry pt, but i doubt will get to there.
