if u draw a trendline for sembmar's latest uptrend...a nice little entry point would be at the 5.30 level, trendline support which has held up very nicely

buy signals appear on many counters on 1st and 2nd feb..... but as it was before the cny long weekend, i dare not enter.....
so now only watching show and waiting for the next buy signals.....

i have not bought anything yet.....

but wouldn't such a tight stop be prone to " accidental" stopping out, if the price goes to 9.81 for a short while??

Yeah what Daniel said is true. Once support is broken, I would sell immediately. Meaning my stop-loss would be 9.81 or 9.80
Remember China's monetary policies to curb inflation continue to weigh on properties and thus also banks.

i bought at support of 9.83 before cny and put a stop at 9.75, with the tp to be 10.00. was it ever viable?

I did not see their balance sheet, but I am vested small amount since last november.
I do read on the EDGE that the CEO is committed to reward ( dividend ) shareholders handsomely and consistently.
And highly speculated the big PETROBRAS contract in brazil, STXOSV will benefit from it.
