You have put words into my mouth!

When did I ever think or said I would enter @2.16 ?

I said I would only buy @1.85, if it drops there.

And if it doesn't drop there, I will not buy...

Anyway, I do not want to win any debate... Smiley

those who entered at 2.16 would know that the resistance was at 2.22 thats 6 points off only and the support was at 2.04 about 12 points off.. that makes a 1:2 risk reward at least.. why did they do that? They gambled and did not trade on a strategy.

You would have stop your stop loss for 2.16 at about 2.1 which is your minor support which gives u a good 1:1 risk reward ratio fo 6 points off each way or 5 if you count the spread.. unless you had the capital to hold for super long term i.e. cash account.. if you are playing cfd or contra you need to know such levels of support and resistance. The fact is not that the market slap them .. is they slap themselves because they either didn't do a good risk reward count and if they fell from 2.16 to 2.04.. then they already would have had the capital to hold and wouldnt mind such a drawdown.

Honestly iPunter.. would you have gone in at 2.16 knowing the strong resistance at 2.22 and the support at 2.1 weak?

Halo Friends

Below news, any one know what is this about?  Thanks

.. NEWS OUT TODAY at 05:55 AM Feb 08, 2011 ..

.. Genting S'pore .. Neutral | $2.06

Feb 08, 2011 ..
UBS keeps its rating with an unchanged $2.39 target price.

The house expects the casino resorts operator to report a modest rise in EBITDA margin in 4Q to 50 per cent vs 47 per cent in 3Q. UBS notes both Genting, which runs Resorts World Sentosa, and rival Marina Bay Sands were affected by a slowdown in VIP customer volumes in November and December, though Genting was relatively stable quarter on quarter.

The house says: " The next step-change in market size requires deeper and wider access into the VIP/premium mass segments in China."

Yesterday many lost a lot of $$$ ...

which was the first trading day of Chinese New Year.

GentSp 'chionged' to 2.16, and then quickly dropped to 2.04

on the same day, thus many made immediate big losses.

The stock market is not just about being emotional or not.

Regardless of whether one has emotion or not,

one can still get 'slapped' by the market just the same... Smiley
