Korea's Kospi falls 1.6% foreign selling reported

By Michael Kitchen

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- South Korea's benchmark Kospi(XX:$SEU  1,977-31.31-1.56%)  fell below the psychologically important 2,000 level Friday to close the day 1.6% lower at 1,977.19. The drop came amid reports of foreign selling, with the Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo reporting on its website offshore stock sales were the heaviest in three months. During the session, the Bank of Korea kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged but signaled another hike may be in the future. The Chosun report cited analysis by J.P. Morgan as saying monetary-policy tightening was driving foreign investors out of many recently popular markets.

I think we can safely short till STI reach 3140.

Don't go for long positions at the moment, I assume you read my post last night.

If you are really keen on stxosv, buy after results announcement.

It has corrected so much, there will be plenty of upside if results are good. So you can safely buy after announcement if results beat estimates.

Otherwise stay out of the market, unless you are still keen on shorting.

Mass exodus of funds from Asia to US market. Reports all over already confirmed this.
