hey BT,

not sure if i understand my shipping friends explanation.....  in general the shipping trade is on a major decline since 2008/ 2009 (supply and demand issue - US and Europe demand on a major decline )and 2010 improvement (mainly due to the active asia trade)  did not spur much of profit as the cost of business and new ships order are translate into higher operating cost  ...... so i give NOL a miss.

but take note my friends are into shipping cum logistic in nature thus more accurate in container type of business ....... dry and liquid bulk business not in discussed here.

I think noble is a better bet !!!

NoL and Noble bought in at 2.17 at 9am. I only need half a bid to cover commission.

GenSp bought last week at 2.04, still keeping till announcement next week.

I bought NoL partially for earnings play this Wednesday. Read this report on NoL :

http://info.sgx.com/webcoranncatth.nsf/VwAttachments/Att_C9138DD9B8B48FAC482578290036ADBB/$file/NOL_Operating_Performance_for_P12_2010.pdf?openelement

Gar not vested yet. Indofood is a better choice, but preferable you should have bought at 9am.

Hi BT

Sad to know that you won't be guiding us so often come after this week. :( We will miss your valuable advice.

Hmm, can you share with us what entry price are you looking at for Noble, NOL, Cosco, Gar and Indofood?

The movement of Noble, NOL, Cosco and Gar is not moving much from the opening price.

Thanks

nol go up to 2.20 already, noble still 2.18-2.19..... noble like finding it very very difficult to form a bull candle.... i hope the buyers for noble faster come in to form a bull candle today...

Even when one waits until there is constipation,

The problem is you do not know which of the so many  penny stocks will become a multi-bagger.

The bull days when each penny stock take their turns to surge every other day are long gone.

The new world of deficit/debt ridden economies presents new, and perhaps freakish, scenarios... Smiley
