I am wondering why IPCO management and directors did not push up the share price before allowing the note subscriber to convert so many notes into high vol of new shares? Very fishy.....
Anyone still buying? Shd query IPCO mgt why it keep  allowing note conversion since it has the option to stop it. I will vote against the appointment of current directors during the next AGM.
you are not far off for this one. there is on 50K sgd balance to convert the 2,500,000 shares. Then Ipco is thru to the roof.
Could it be misleaded information?

Home Prices Hit a Milestone Growing Demand, Shrinking Supply Buoy Housing Market 'Tide Has Changed'

The housing market's revival has had several false dawns in recent years, but a recovery that began in the spring has strengthened throughout the summer and fall. The latest confirmation came on Wednesday, when the Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller 20-city index showed that prices rose by 4.3% from a year ago in October. Since January, prices are up 6.9% so far this year, the largest year-to-date ...

Hi Choonmng,
Have you informed SGX? It seems that  the  fund has converted  275 million shares representing about 11.8% since May 2012. Since there is no announcement that it has become a major shareholder, it could  have sold quite a bit away [at least 160 million shares] during the period.

Hi Isolator, You might want to raise to  the BOD/IDs  of IPCO why they should continue to issue notes now that they could easily raise $50 million cash by selling non-core financial  assets, Blumont & InnoPac.  Blumont's shares were issued to IPCO to settle outstanding AR and should be sold immediately as price has already gone up by 10 folds since the date of issue.
Btw, IPCO has the option not to proceed with further tranches according to its  proposal dated Apr 17 2008
  ------------------------------------------------------------------
[Extract from Notes Doc] Option of Company not to proceed with further tranches after Tranche 1 Notes notwithstanding anything to the contrary above, save for Tranche 1 Notes, the Company has the sole discretion not to proceed with the issue of subsequent tranches of the Notes by electing not to exercise the Option.

or, just sit and wait for notes to expire in 2013.
Isolator wat are u thinkings?
2013 will be see the shine!! Enjoy...
btw, why should ipco continue to issue notes at all? Isn't it sitting on potential cash from shares it holds in two penny stocks, Blumont [165m shares?] and innoPac [200m shares]? Shouldn't it just sell them away since they are weak security and raise cash that it needs than issuing notes? Ipco's audit committee and independent directors should evaluate than leave to the BOD to continue issues note right???
It should be investigated... in case this allows any funds to short hey wire and profit huge without the risk of buy back since they can convert to shares and cover back,...
It seems to me that Adv Opp Fund has been converting at 2 cts and selling off at 2.1cts. Isn't it ipco benefitting just the fund and sacrificing shareholders? I believe the notes should have clause to adjust the term and condition, or the way it prices the notes, and ipco mgt should be able to exercise it??
