Yup i sold my stxosv last fri morning. Nope didn't buy back this counter (in fact didn't want to buy anything today) cos not gian to step into landmine. Tmr may be buy or sell short, all depends on stxosv's results. The opening price will be very telling.

Right we all know that from news media everyday, natural calamities etc will affect agri commodities near term and crop yields this year which is already happening.
The stock market is forward looking, has it not factored in all these in anticipation of cpo spike? CPO is coming close to hitting 2 year high of myr 4,000/tonne this week, why is it that Gar hasn't been moving up? Could it be that there isn't many big fishes willing to inject liquidity into this counter unlike before? This is something to think about, not a buy/ sell call.

reason why commodity will do better this year due to lack of stock, due to QE, and nature disaster around happening like flood etc etc. long list to go. currency may devalue but asset stock and commodity will devalue or crash?
u see flood jus took place, next is QE lining up. if really print more money..what will happen to ur $$? currency may be the next crisis bah..if that is happening then food, asset(property) might go up, as they need to charge u higher as currency goes down.

Yes and when a trade has failed to move in one's direction, it helps to have the sensibility to lookup daily charts to find out why and whether the initial target price (to sell) is still realistic and presumed trend intact.
Once the tide has turned, it is also time to change action plan and bail at the next best opportunity/ price.

commodity and commodity counters are related but not directly.
sure CPO price go up cause of shortage or flood, but if the flood is located in wilmar fields, do you think wilmar will still go up?
likewise now queensland flood, you think straits asia price will go up even though coal price at 15month high?
and if they QE 3 come out, the world will get into a financial crisis again, cause global currency will be unstable due to influx of too much world currency namely USD. interest rate will be raised to fight inflation and well...

yar thats alot ppl's mindset, aiya should have hold and sell higher, aiya should have cut loss so wont bleed so much. but when u r prepare, aiya..so many things to buy but no $$$ lei HAHA.

My stock pick will select base on my chat at low and a bit of fundamental from my point of view, thats why i became travestor rather than investra. LOL
