Recent low for GAR is 0.685.... If GenSP can find support at $2... why GAR cannot???

cannotfind      ( Date: 15-Feb-2011 12:09) Posted:

yes indeed... thought last Friday was the lowest!!!.... GAR is now 69 cents!!! Can't believe this, man.

Somehow my feeling tell me that last friday fall already see bottom...prices may fluctuate but will not fall below that prices... GENSP will be a good example. Hope really don't break down  :)))

Ok, thanks.

Share the same sentiment as Roti  if you can  discuss US market here with us. :)

You can start with the Dow, or Nasdaq or S& P components.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dow_Jones_Industrial_Average

Or you can choose from thousands of other counters, like Las Vegas Sands (LVS), etc..

When a market is flushed with liquidity, it will lift the majority of counters with reasonable earnings.

When a market lacks investor interest, even good earnings will not see the price going up reasonably.

Come back to Asia markets again when inflation issues are over and China is done with raising interest rates.

Reports indicate another 2 or 3 interest rate hikes from China this year. And the next hike could be as soon as March 2011.

Then as Cosco's price came down, he average down and bought some more. Eventually he lost the million dollar profits and went back to driving a taxi again.

At 9:50 a.m., STX OSV shares were up 2.5% at $1.22 on a volume of 5.7 million shares.

Not sure if they allow it here.

Anyway not entering US market till the correction comes. And it could be still some weeks or months away.

He's a professional, in a highly paid full time job (not finance/banking/accounting/ industry). Stocks investing is just secondary to him. His method, buy when prices are low or when the market crashes

BullishTempo      ( Date: 15-Feb-2011 11:08) Posted:

LoL

Imagine he bought just 10 lots at US $1.

That would cost him US $10,000   (2 years ago)

Profits would be : 10 lots x $39 = $390,000   (after deducting cost)

If we are to follow your friend,   we could do the easy thing and just buy GenSp now at near $2 and wait for 2 to 3 years, without trading it. Just patiently wait for 2 to 3 years.

But unlikely GenSp will ever reach $20 or $40 like LVS.   Probably more like $4 to $5.

LVS, just last Friday, a friend told me he bought LVS at US$1+ 2 years back and just sold it a few weeks ago at US$40+. 'Mouth Agape'
