Regarding the Internet, the beauty about it (cyberspace) is that
no one, or no one person, can bluff many people for long.
It is a wonderful place for all truth to triumph in the long run.
So bluffers or dishonest people can't last for long with this powerful monster...

Most rich people are into some form of business or another...
Only a lucky very few become rich in stocks betting.
Those who do, invariably become poor again if they continue to play stocks.
Those who are rich usually seek to expand their own business/es.
(but this excludes all powerful politicians anywhere, of course)...

i know some friends vowed to quit stock market after lost a lot.. n started a business, ended up losing everything..
starting a business is as risky as stock market..
all depends on how u do/play it properly..
the safest way is still saving what u can earn monthly.. n be contented with just an average life..
tat's y everyone's so envious of those rich ppl

It is likely that one can never recover previous losses at all.
It is easier to start a business and 'recover' stock market losses...

My friend...only trust 50% of things you dont see with your own eyes..

For me, I set a sum of money aside to risk.
For eg 50k to dump in stock market....its make or break.
Cos 50k u give me put in a bank, it means nothing to me also..:D
I am prepared for MAKE OR BREAK.
So those that are not prepared to BREAK but only thinking of MAKE, this is truly one place you dont belong,
ONLY WORKING CAN GURANTEE U MAKE AND MAKE :D

business.. there's no such thing's as luck, u need to get the strategy right and effective..
imagine u spend all ur $ setting a shop selling smth that u think will be profitable..
but alas, u are wrong... there goes ur $$.

I lost 4K start Jan 2011..now dunno can recover or not...
but surprisingly.. ur prediction about sunvic and sunpower is very chun !
may be u should trade without looking at this forum. then u will start to recover

your GAR situation is similiar to my CGX. i lost more than 15 cents, cause of a gap down followed by stubborn refusal to sell. until i decided to quit the market. then i realised all losses. including CGX. and when i had the chance to breakeven with GAR, i didnt treasure it, and consequently ended up selling at a loss. o well.
