I brought at high 0.79 leh, now very " mao dun" whether to keep or sell partial to reduce more losses. But I dun need to use the money. So cover one eye & wait for result bah.

Long term this share should be very good.   But give the company some time to consolidate all business ops. KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Crude palm oil futures on Malaysia's derivatives exchange ended slightly lower Thursday after falling as much as 2.6% in late trading as an improving supply outlook prompted traders to liquidate positions.

Traders also expect China--the world's biggest consumer of edible oils--to make changes to its import tax structure for soyoil and palm oil that will be negative for the latter, but the rumors couldn't be confirmed.

" Palm oil prices slipped into the red in early trade on speculation that China may cut its soyoil import tax to 1% from the current 9%, while keeping the palm oil tax unchanged at 9%," a trading manager at a Singapore-based agribusiness trading firm said.

" This would drag palm oil prices lower in the near term as Chinese buyers might make the switch to rival soyoil if there's a cut," he said.

The benchmark May contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended MYR20 or 0.5% lower at MYR3,725 a metric ton, after tumbling to an intraday low of MYR3,648/ton.

The rumors about a coming change in import taxes also dragged down agricultural commodities on the Dalian Commodity Exchange. The most-active September soyoil contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange was trading 1.4% lower at CNY10,382/ton. Dalian palm oil was down 1.1% at CNY10,022/ton as of 0908 GMT.

Palm oil prices hit MYR3,967/ton on Feb. 10, a level not seen since March 2008, due to concerns about the disruption of harvesting and transportation of oil palms by monsoon rains in top producing countries Malaysia and Indonesia.

Traders have turned cautious, however, as palm oil supply may pick up in the second half of the year.

" For palm oil, the worst is over in terms of production. Prices may fall more," said an executive at Kuala Lumpur-based commodities brokerage OSK Investment Bank.

" The palm oil rally is closer to its end and may have already peaked... Supply could surprise on the upside in 2011," Credit Suisse analysts Tan Ting Min and Teddy Oetomo said in a report.

The most-active rupiah-denominated May CPO contract on the Indonesia Commodity & Derivatives Exchange was trading 2.2% lower at IDR10,975 a ton at 0941 GMT.

CME Group's dollar-denominated palm oil contract for May delivery was $39 lower at $1,202.75/ton.

In the cash market, palm olein for July, August, September was traded from $1,202.50-$1,212.50/ton, free on board Malaysian ports, a Singapore-based physical market broker said.

Open interest on the BMD was 102,293 lots, versus 101,210 lots Wednesday. One lot is equivalent to 25 tons.

A total of 34,151 lots of CPO were traded versus 26,026 lots Wednesday.
