That thinking, including 'fundamentals thinking' will cause you
to have great faith and confidence even in the face of drastic falls.
And more importantly, having such faith always prevent one
from selling  when they are at high and lucrative prices...
And it that usually results in selling in desperation at the very lows..

As a trader, that " fair value" thinking, long ingrained into by others,
may be main the reason to cause you more losses in future.
To become a good trader, one must need to get the basics right
before one can hope not to lose a lot of money...

i believe Gensp fair value or entry based on ytd was 1.9. however should it break 1.9down today then it is another matter. however with so many upstirs in the world, oil price rising, it would seem like the world is heading into another recession. imagine if the liberation spree starts in SEA, trade will be affect, economies will suffer jobs loss, where got $ go casino. so even though i am very tempted to enter at 1.9, however being cautious of the world state,i think i will sit this 1 out. seriously, seems like there is a liberation drive, egypt, libya, bahrain, if come asia there are a few dictatorship countries...haiz

SINGAPORE
The Straits Times  index extended its decline by nearly 0.6% on Wednesday. Graphically, below 3050, the risk of breaking below 2950 remains high.Singapore's January CPI  rose 5.5% YoY (+4.65% expected) vs +4.6% in December.
Wilmar International  (WIL) reported 4Q net income down 28% YoY to $318.6M on revenue of S$9.1B, up 31%. FY10 net income declined 30% to $1.32B on revenue of $30.4B, up 27%. Chairman and CEO Kuok Khoon Hong said: " Despite the weaker performance for the year, the Group is optimistic of its performance in 2011. Outlook of Asian economies, especially China, India and Indonesia remains positive and commodity prices are expected to remain firm. (...) Notwithstanding the pressure on margins for crushing and consumer products due to competition and high feedstock prices, together with Government restriction on price increase of consumer products, other segments of the Group are expected to perform well. Refining and oleochemicals should benefit from expanded capacities while plantations and fertilisers will benefit from higher palm oil prices."
SembCorp Marine  (SMM) released FY net income of S$860.3M vs S$700.1M a year ago. 4Q revenue was S$982.9M, down from S$1.34B a year ago.
Cosco Singapore  (COS) reported FY revenue of S$3.86B ($3.65B expected) with net income of S$248.8M ($201M expected).

Dow down does not mean funds flow back to Asia.
Funds will not come back unless inflation is curbed in this region.
Read your Straits Times for today, money section.
Money flow is continuing to the west. They don't switch funds every other week.

Newbies especially should take care and be extremely careful what to believe.
Because.believing in the wrong thing can spell big money loss...
But pure or sensible betting is all right...
