no la.... it means you only think about the stocks when you pang sai....
when in front of the computer, cannot  think..... if your trading system/plan says cut, just cut, cannot and do not need to think, just execute it

Whether one has a CDF account or not,
It is important to make sure one is expert in playing long first.
One must never be 'gay kiang' (hero) and start to 'short the bugger'
even before one knows how to play long positions well.
If this advice is not followed, one is highly likely to
be smacked and smacked by the market, until one starts
to tremble (fear of shorting) on hearing the word " short" ...

CFD's can be a good servant but a bad master.........

epl.... no offence intended here but it seems like you just sign up to open a cfd account without researching.
i suggest you call up your cfd service provider. arrange for an info session with them. they would and should be more than happy to arrange one with you.
go down, and  find out from them  how cfd works.... when will your account trigger a margin call.... the risks involve in cfds.... the daily finance interest rates, the commission etc.....
i think they would give you a better answer than all of us here. cfd can be very dangerous, so really important that you get all the correction information and knowledge about it before you play.

When you trade CFD's, you must go in with a entry/exit plan (strategy) and stick to it..... better still leave your emotions in the toilet............

epl, don't trade sti for now.  This is the best advice you get from Bullish. Otherwise since you cannot outsmart him in his profession, get him to trade  on your behalf  or be your remiser!
Usually when people play CFD, they don't want to make kachang puteh...
Just like when they play warrants, they also don't like to play kachang...
All because it is  so 'cheap' (affordable)...

epl, can u don't  use cfd?
Main reason is, it really is  a bad period to trade on sg market right now. The intraday  candle movements  and eod charts are  showing whipsaws  & jagged pattern,  getting increasingly  difficult to  read unlike before.  Switching to cfd from cash a/c  is  real easy to mau more lots because it appears cheaper per trade with 10 - 20% capital required as opposed to using  cash a/c. Losses and  gains are multipled because of risks exposure.  It is really very easy to lose money in the  stock market. Do u really  want  such risks? Plus  with margin statistics ticking live on the trading platform, it  can make one unable to  control anxiety  or execute trades with a clear mind. Moreover,  you need to focus on your day job, it is a priority for you  as  the breadwinner of your family.

Gaecia so happy...  can go travel round...
But after making all the travelling, next time you will also be happy
just to travel in Google Earth and  Google Streetview...
At least not as exhausting as being there...
