Today may be the best time to buy, SA gave assurance in increasing oil supply. DJ also rebounded from low ...
Next week may have another wild ride again. Libya still not steady.

The act of averaging down is enough proof of that...
Thus, as far as possible, do not average down....

Crude oil ends down after last-minute reversal
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- In a late-hour reversal, crude-oil futures settled lower on Thursday, leaving a 28-month high as some investors grew concerned the market had run up too far, too fast. News that Algeria had lifted decades-old political restrictions, coupled with earlier news that Saudi Arabia had announced a $36-billion aid package, soothed some fears of unrest contagion in the Middle East and North Africa. Oil for April delivery /quotes/comstock/21n!f:cl\j11 (CLJ11 97.15, -0.95, -0.97%) retreated 82 cents, or 0.8%, to finish at $97.28 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It had traded past $103 a barrel earlier.

Update 2: We're giving this almost no credibility. But there's this rumor based on nothing going around that Qaddafi was shot. But hey, even Reuters mentioned it.

Futures turn positive as oil prices ease

NEW YORK, Feb 24 (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures cut losses and turned positive shortly before the market open on Thursday as oil prices fell below $100 a barrel.
S& P 500 index futures, off as much as 8 points earlier in the morning, added 1.3 points as U.S. crude oil futures eased to $99.63 a barrel. Prices had hit $101 on mounting fears the unrest in Libya could spread to other major producers in the region, including top exporter Saudi Arabia.
" Trading volume on Wall Street has been solid for the past two days, a signal that we have entered a correction and motivated sellers are taking profits," said Tim Ghriskey, chief investment officer of Solaris Asset Management in Bedford Hills, New York.
" But this is a correction that is driven by the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, so if the problem goes away we may be able to turn course."
S& P 500 futures rose 0.8 point and were in line with fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures gained 7 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures added 6.5 points.
