Agree, usually the pennies will be hardest hit during a down trend and pick up slower during an up trend (after the blue chips stabalises)...so sort of expected, but at least good to see it bouncing up.

China Oilfield Shanghai IPO raises US$899 mln.

China Construction Bank to list in Shanghai Tuesday.

Both above two news will give a big boost to HK bourses while STI may get a lift on it China related listed stocks list in SES.Smiley

World at large, globalised by world economy, likely S'pore must plug into.., it international need is niche market to turn it angle to maximise to realize it potential given it limitation of it size and also it SIN dollar (S$). HSBC (Bank) alone is one big multi-national company compare to our own biggest DBS Bank. 

Just sharing my tot on global economies.

Frankly I am not surprised US corporate earnings grew to push Dow up. We are in a globalised economy.

WIth the US interest rate cut, oil is push up to a high of US$84/- while dollar is weakeningSmiley Recession is push to the background. Next pending more treatening war of word over Iran with US presidential election due in less then 18 motnths.

Since the Dow only pulled back a bit last night, it seems the uptrend pattern has already been formed quite well...

sti is push up by bluechip and few active penny stocks. it will drop back again to somewhere near 3200.

Anyone do trading today?, opened up strongly to hit STI above 3,607 point, then end of the day. All on profit taking....sell into strength. Be prepare for another volatile trading day. Smiley
