there is no good reason for the shares to drop at these level and it is STUPID to sell at the current price (IRRATIONAL PESSIMISM)...as said before, this provides apportunity for long term holders to buy the shares (do not buy all at one time but bit by bit as the uncertainty may end within 6 or 14 days time..exact date to be confirmed and i will make a call)...good luck and not for contra trading

Any good TA analyst bar none will tell you to stay out for the market , look at the breaking of all the different moving average ,the breaking of trendline , the long black candle means that the downward momentum is intact.
However, this is a real bargain hunting season too?? Let?s look at history, last 24 years , there are only 4 occassions that the sum of ROC has reach more than -50

1) Oct 1987
2) Aug 1990
3) Jan 1998
4) Jan 2008

Market has reached those black swan event.

If you have contra( which I dont encourage), STAY OUT. I think we still have some more downside to go. Downside target 2850
If you can hold at least 1 years, history has shown that the success ratio is 100%

Expect the bear to end at 61.8% retracement of (3899-1209) at 2236 at around Sept/Oct 2008.

Make a study of STI (daily closing) using Yahoo. Wave 1 started at 1209(11/03/03) up to 1909 (27/01/04). Wave down to 1822 (12/03/04). Wave 3 up to 2511 (07/03/06), Wave 4 down to 2311 (13/06/06). Wave 5 up to 3899 (10/10/07). The bull had ended on 10/10/07.  Using Fibo 61.8% retracement of (3899-2311), we got 2917 which is 21st Jan 08 STI. So 2917 is the 1st line of support, if not then 2511 could be a strong support.

"If I were walking along a railroad track and saw an express train coming at me sixty miles an hour, I would be a damned fool not to get off the track and let the train go by.  After it had passed, I could always get back on the track again, if  I desired. "     - An investment wisdom from a great genius speculator.

Again and again, candle stick chart shown its very high level reliability  -- a must have Swiss Army Knife!

If you bought at high, be patience may dilute your hard earned money. A lot of counters have plunged more than 50% since last correction, typical example is Centilion. So do you think they can surge to its peak in a year time? Maybe!

Quick and sharp action is necessary for current market. It is a Casino games now! Win and lose is 50:50 if you still in the market.

A rate cut will provide an excellent opportunity to exit on the rebound...
Bears can be very nasty animals...

If one loses money, it is not because the market is a bad animal...

It is simply due to our own opinion/s...  Smiley
