Looks like we are all in need for a miracle rebound...a technical rebound can't do much...sigh...

the remaining stale bulls tried their best hold their defense at 2800 but under heavy artillery fire by the BBs and prowling retail bears, rampanting the city of SGX, the line of defense is breached 3 times and the gate is finally opened.. the line of defense bull retreat to will be at 2600.. that wil be the last line of defense.. if breached.. STI can surrender all their 2006 and 2007 gains to the new conquesor (the great black canadian bear) and we shall all live in a gloomy stock market for a long time because the next raging bull take charge and lead the battle against the bear again.

yep i have the same thoughts as you zhenxian...however...these are our hopes...let's hope it will not be dashed....even when there's a rebound...doesn't look solid....and i saw on CNN news last Friday poll...3 out 4 Americans felt they are already in a recession or into a recession soon

looking forward tonight to DJI...their futures were terrible though....it is a shorting market now

An US domestic problem becoming a world problem.  Something is not right here.  The US have rating companies such as Standard & Poor, Moodys, ..etc  Are they in league with the Finanacial institutions there to con the world ?  If they do their due dilligence, this sub-prime issue should never be there.  Imagine a family earning US$2,000 a month, living in a big house with 2 cars not able to pay up their mortages ?  How did he ever get a loan to service the big house, 2 cars, ..etc.  This brought to mind those earlier days when the US orchestrated and hit the Japanese economy so badly that Japan is still licking their wounds today. Till today the banks in US are not reviewing the details of the CDOs issued, this is surprising as the modern computer database is capable to identify the info within minutes.  So who is their target ? China ? India ?, ..or all of them ?  Could this be one long term high level US projects to make the US rich again, reduce their annual debt deficits ?  Our market is down although we are doing very well.  We got to swallow it although it is not our undoing.  This is the Evil side of the Financial World !!!!

yes indeed massive selldown can be irrational and not very logical at times...however going with the market flow...tonight DOW will be opening....nothing much of a good news to look ahead...if buy today or still keep without selling it down....might incur a greater loss in the near term...
