historical chart only makes up 50% of the reasons (that is why traders still lose money even if they have all the strong powerful historical chart tools)...you need more than that...good luck :)

Meanwhile in China China warns worst not over in weather crisisAFP - Saturday, February 2
But hundreds of thousands of travellers, if not millions, continued to pack transport hubs as the country entered the peak holiday travel stretch from Saturday to Wednesday

"The government said 180 mil people were expected to make trips home to be with their families for the holiday in what is thought to be the largest annual human migration in the world.

Weeks of heavy snow and icy conditions have caused 7.5 billion dollars in damage, killed at least 60 people and affected at least 105 million of the country's 1.3 billion people, according to official figures.

The frigid conditions have caused widespread power outages, crimped distribution of coal -- the country's main energy source -- and driven up food prices in many areas.

STI already numbs with DJ, now seems like HSI is calling the shot, BT said. Its true China also got part to play, as the snow rain had caused choitic in the daily life of six of the central major provinces. What next, sure many investors will reconsider whether they still want to take the risk to invest in China or not. Though most of the investment coy are cater along the seaside's provinces but they are affected as well as most of the raw materials were come from inland regions. Ju think Ju chiak luck, sigh.

We can only say: May the force be with us.

But we all know the truth that it would never be.

Yesterday I posted that the CNBC economists are going to speak positively last night and that the DOW will regain the lost yesterday.  So u see, it is not the fundamentals that drives the market rather it is how they packaged their directions.  Sometimes I wonder if they are under the payroll of say perhaps Warren Buffet, Sorros, ..etc.  In conclusion, one must see what is their next move.  This would not have happen if Asia decouple from the US.  My 2cents worth.

Currently i see no stocks to buy from current STI conditions thou DOW has risen for more than 7 days..

the better one will short the rally as currently we are in down trend. Shorting is something i am not competent enough for my to short confidently, hence i did not trade recently after my Biosensor trades. i believe nickng should teach us more abt art of shorting.. lol

looking at the region...we r poised for some optimism...last night's DOW indeed went up by a great margin...the selldown at the very last moment is a natural profit-taking and fear in the Americans still...however they will need to settle in on the news and make sure it is confirm a reversal that they rest their hearts in peace and buy up not selldown

Barton's asia stock charts; Usually bullish but has recently turned bearish although the bear market started in oct 2007

STI could fall to 2800 and then 2600 and could even reach 2200.
