Hi all, I have just posted the charts for HSI, STI and BSE.
Looking at the past 5 years, they have been going up, up, up and up. Not many
major corrections along the way. It can't go up forever. Just an observation of
the charts on a 5 year basis.
We are in for a turbulent time now as the markets begin to turn worse.
I would suggest the following :
a) If you are playing blue chips, then watch STI closely.
b) If yes are playing penny stock, S-stock, then watch their respective indexes, midcap, service etc.
This is because after the January fall, the penny and the blue is such a contrast. S-share is half price and Blues are still not there yet.
With SIBOR at 52wk low, I think a lot of fund have left our shore. Anyone knows where we can get singapore M1, M2 money supply charts ??
Any comment ?
Will 2800 level hold with so much pessimism around....
Andrew, thanks for the explanation.
Look like a 2 week MA. The delay at the sharp fall at Sep 3.
Needed some help from forumers here. My question is about the "grey colored" line in the following STI chart used in Sharejunction website. How many MA-days? in that line?
Appreciate your comments. Thanks.
Hi...AK Francis...,
Thanx for sharing ...man .
Much appreciated.....
Chao...!!!
EU Frankfurt now is down 175 and London fell 124. DJ got problem already, despite a good report on the CPI announced tonite. Today HS and Shanghai fell dramatically could be one of the reasons causing STI jittering.
Hence, tomorrow must be very carefull esp beside taking stock with DJ, watch out for HSI and Shanghai. Cheers.
the STI closes above the support of 2800..as mentioned at noon time...we had seen several rebounds when it is at this level...however tomorrow is Friday and we do not know yet how well or bad the CPI will be from the US Markets...so if break this 2800 level...probably we shall see it go down further
Another bad trading morning. Lunch time leow.
The deterioration has begun already where the US credit squeeze will get worse as the Fed will not be able to bail out the sub prime mortgage. US will lower rate by 0.5% by next Tue hopefully able to spur the economy.
China inflation is running at 8.5%. China market will fall as the Central bank will raise interest to curb run away inflation. Food prices have gone up. Export has dropped significantly in Feb. No decoupling story.
Oil prices have reached a new high of $110 per barrel. Gold has continued to climbed.
Time to get out of market. It is best not to stay invested. The next level for STI will be between 2500 to 2800 range. More downside expected.
Forget about Olympics spillover effect, US election. This will be a different year.
will we probably see a rebound near the region of 2800 levels again..it happened several times this week already
