In what way is fishing healthier than bowling?
You mean got  lot of fish to eat?
Or got a lot of time to sleep/read magazines/watch DVD while waiting
                        for the big bite?

No way, too  volatile. i'm into gambling.
Issues  pertaining to share mvt  ie.  trading halt,  share placement sales  cannot not be divulged beyond the boardroom which is tantamount to insider trading.

something to think about ?

MELBOURNE, March 7 (Reuters) - Australian stocks fell 1.4
percent to close at a 5-week low on Monday, with index
heavyweights Rio Tinto , BHP Billiton and top
banks all posting losses as tensions in oil-producing nations
sapped appetite for risk.
The benchmark S& P/ASX 200 index fell 66.4 points to
4,797.9, according to the latest available data, its lowest
close in 5 weeks and tentatively breaching chart support at
4,800.
New Zealand's benchmark NZX 50 index rose 0.4
percent to 3,430.1.
quite true....
fishing is healthier than bowling....

I am not arguing with you, but do you know you can only make
money by investing on the right side of the market?
Of course like most people, you stick to your staunch opinion
that the market will reward you handsomely at a later stage.
But time is money, I also hope for you to make money.

Actually, stock betting is not like anything else...
      It is  a unique undertaking...
which requires a lot of experience..
but not in any particular field of endeavour...

wow really?
i thought fishing is more related....
i seem to find alot of similarities with fishing and stock trading.....
-   need alot of patience  to catch a fish - need alot  of patience to enter/exit at  the share price you aiming
- there are different rods to be used - different strategies, indicators, different charting software
- different oceans/seas to fish - different stock markets to play
i think there should be more.... but i can't think of them at the moment

On stxosv, those who have a practice of cutloss especially when it went below 1.20 after earnings release will not have to go through such an agonising time. Being patient doesn't always reward the investor, one has to realise that and acknowledge when the tide has turned.

Hahaha... I especially like the Taiwanese bowler Ma's " helicopter top spin style" ...
and Wayne Web's old one-handed " grab and throw style" ...
