Agreed with iPunter, cyyjerry85 and AK Francis. This is a friendly forum where we read and learn. People have views of their own, no one is wrong in that sense, people who read other views have to do their own judgment at the end of the day. Shares are speculative and is a gamble... no one can predict what will happen ... even analysts could be wrong. I remember during the good times, many said that sti will hit 4000 at the end of last year, instead it went down down down.
Well, there will be times for newbies like me who will be lost and seek opinions from the Sifus. Hope people don't mistaken us for not doing our homework.
Whatever it is, "whatever hit bottom, the only way is up". Hope things will turn better.
Happy holidays! Cheers!
This is not to say that it is the wrong approach. But rather, it is better to treat the stock market as a place to learn about the meaning of life, particularly with regard to the practise of taking risks.
One must always bear in mind when one buys a stock, one is not really buying a part of a company,
but more accurately, one is buying a risk. This being the case, a continued vigilance to the risk situation should always be practised.
But unfortunately, the majority of players are only interested in making money fast, this being their predominant motivation, to the unconscious exclusion of other more important aspects of the game.
Thus, any reference to 'education' is unwelcome and despised....
sincerely... this is supposedly to be one of the more friendly & active (stocks) forums around...u can see many others which are either dormant or popular ones that are stabbing one another furiously (certainly that is not a very conducive place to be)....should we turn SJ one day into such a place....i doubt none of us will benefit from it....
yes indeed all of us are made up of individuals are of different views....be it supported by sources from self-TA or FA or other credible websites...one thing is for sure....even professional economists and analysts are wrong MANY times! so what say us?? we are just each individual voicing out personal views...nothing is of guarantee in the volatile stock market
I am sorry, brothers and sisters in this forum, we make friends and learn from each others in the forums. We hv thousands of members, including the green horns like me. At times we were unable to express ourselves properly, but we tried. We had no bad intention to lure others, but just we are green, we hv still rooms for improvement. We need guidance and care.
We will learn form the last fews posts posted by our sifus and we whole heartedly to digest what they said and commented. We will learn from there. I hope we are not discouraged but keep going. Cheers.
Hi cashiertan,
I think you are taking this forum too seriously. There will always be people posting rubbish to suit their own agenda. Its the same as the general media, they will always post rubbish or even distorted versions of the story. If you have to blame, you can blame those gullible folks who listen to all these bull crap. If they can't decipher and filter out useful information, then (forgive me for saying this) they deserve to lose money.
I find it very amusing when people come out and make outrageous forecasts without any TA or FA. I find it even more hilarious that people actually take the poster's words.
What irritates me that most, are people who keep asking others about the opinions on certain charts, when he or she does not input his or her views on it first. How are they gonna learn anything, without trying first?

cashiertan,
Totally agree with you. Forumers should weigh the credibility of comments posted, do their own research and make thei own investment decisions.

Thanks everyone for the support. For your praise and admiration for me is too much to bear, thank u all deeply for the support. I will continue to teach newbies like u all in time to come. I know I am the best, but humbleness keep me away from saying that.
Yours sincerely
Robert with humble love
Asking the devil for blessing ??
Seems like an innocous or innocent statement, but absolutely the opposite actually
You don't know what you are actually getting into with such seemingly harmless (but otherwise) statements
i respect few ppl here, newmoon is one of them for his unique and indepedent view postings. however sadly, there are many here who i dun have much respect for as either they have alter-ego or selfish motives. Worst is some have all of the two with lousy TA & FA skills.
Harm ppl harm themselves. some just harm others for their own gain, be it ego boostings or for $.
STI is not in BEAR yet. it is in range like DOW.
Dun trust ppl in this forums, just read for fun, Yes even my posts or other better than me and good and reputable posters like singgal, elfin & shplayer.
trust yourself more as there are many liars and selfish bastards here postings and giving rubbish advise or selling rubbish.
Did anyone realise Newmoon has been warning us about the present situation since quite some time back?
Those who had heeded his warnings would have been 'saved' from the present carnage (ie, having their stocks typically fallen by 50 percent or more...
Great work!...

market will be back to certainty from 1st February till 14th/21st April....it will move higher high (see now at around 3050)...buy on dip and good luck trading :)...Market is always RIGHT :) |
Victorf could mistime by 1 month, so could be March 7 -14 instead of April 7-14. I had an eerie feeling that his time was too long when stated a few months back.
