this morning the newspapers Money section reported in a column (titled "STI at 3-month high but mood is cagey") that there is a note of caution ...with overall volume falling to 1.68billion shares worth of $2.08billion from shares worth $2.08 billion from Wed's 1.99billion shares worth $2.6 billion

Dear Stupidfool (again no offense)

Saw a message in CNN this morning that China wants to have a healthy development for its stock market. Something interesting to look forward to. Positive impact for China stocks listed here?

No lah...just agree with Livermore that there are some china counters which have good value.

But not for trading or speculating but for holding.

Dear Stupidfool (no offence), the Shanghai Stock Index as at today has fallen 45.33 percent from its high of 6124 (some people may be jumping down somewhere in Shanghai Jinmau Tower) as at today closing(almost all the way down daily for quite some time). It seems that you are bullish on china stocks from now onwards?

there isn't a follow suit of rally after the big cheong up from DOW...it was noted in the news that the DOW spurred up so high without a high volume...

currently still dunno how STI will react to the situation...will we remain cautious today ahead of the crucial jobs data or will greed overcome us in being optimistic that the worst is over?

on a personal view, despite many bad news recently that the market is giving but yet the DOW went up...those news have nothing much to do in the hearts of Americans (in terms of psychological connection)...however the jobs data will be something looked upon on because jobs is something that they are very much in need now...the psychological connection is there...so probably this time round the up or down will be rational tying up with the jobs data

Same thinking as now DJ didn't follow suit yesterday gain. Hence, be vigilant, esp take a look at DJ performance tomorrow before 0845hrs and make your decision on subsequent activities. Cheers.
