Look like it's following up on from last closing....up slightly for DOW,  so is for STI Index, , good for another rally, for this coming Monday only, that my view.

6:38am:  Futures little changed as investors await report that is expected to show fourth straight month of U.S. job losses. more
Asian markets soar on U.S. optimism (B'cos of this  reason - US optimism, Asian mkts soar)

It closed off at...
ST Index
3,236.10  +88.31 points

Volume
1,465.8 M
FTSE ST All Share 824.65 20.71

http://money.cnn.com/data/premarket/index.html (DOW future is seen positive)

Due to long weekend, still it ended up very strongly. Coming another rally good for Monday trading only.

looking at situation...we r well above the 3200 level...however...volume is considered weak currently..the morning session was strong...but afternoon reopened without the continuation of strength in volume...at the moment now is not even 1.1billion yet

i may be wrong thou. but i would suggest take some profit if any. leave some to see if the DOW will contd to climb. 13,000 is a resistance level. need to play carefully..

Ha! as most of citizens are happy receiving the GST offset pakage and growth dividends on 30 Apr, 2morrow gonna be a good marketing day early the morning. But may see profit taking later of the day. Hence, shorting is the short term trading strategy. AK view only.

Next Mon rally, thats much depends on US announcement on Fri nite. 50/50 lah, but negligible, as most of the small investors were wounded last few weeks owing to high div syndrome's shares.

Yup. The trend is well defined couple months ago.

Same commandments for the same strategy.

If DOW tonight closing with green (must), reversal is then under the way.  And the next is to identify the DOW's bullishness (by making 'long' will be more easier to profit when in such a state) , DOW have to break thru 12809.29 (+430.68 more from yesterday closing).

Please take note also for this, if DOW failed to do so (decimal place figure have to take into account as well), then too bad, must run as fast as you can and please don't look back.. (by making 'short' will be more easier to profit when in such state)

AK perceives that as most of the coy last qtr results had come to at rest. And most of the coy's prices were dragged down greatly. Thats could be the attractive prices for BB to come in. The next wave would be Arabia propsed GIC to come into play leow, as one of our big brass went to visit Arab lately, and he stressed that Arab should invest in the blue chips in Spore. Ha ha.

Early this morning B4 9am, all the index stocks have very big married deals. Is this a sign of things to come? Volume usually leads price.

Anyone noticed why all the top20 vol consisted of mainly bluechip?

Dumping or accumulating? hmmm..very strange
