Watch USD Yen for clues to DJIA performance tonight.

If USDYen > 104.28 - may see resumption of uptrend.

USDYen < 103.69 - bearish bias. Any drop below 103.59 is extremely bearish.

Looks like bull trap. Try not to hold too many long overnight positions today.

Too bad STI had been pulled down by the region sentiment... sian!!!!!

The only way is to be northward after profit taking!!!!! cheers Smiley

Ha ha, AK dream, convert sea water into fuel. Firstly, bringing down CO price and secondly reduce the danger of poles ice melt down crisis.

Indeed, hydrogen from H2O is green. One way is to use solar energy, wind energy to break down the hydrogen from H2O and use the hydrogen for burning, maybe without compressing it. Normally, in industries, hydrogen is compressed for transportation. Still feasible in big countries with space and sunlight. Only thing is $ investment and commitment. If it is implemented, i think oil price will subside. I'm  hoping for this day to come. We need oil alternatives!! Renewable energy is the way to go.

HSI already hit 25806, 10 pts off the resistance 25816. Still uptrend.

CWQuah      ( Date: 16-May-2008 19:47) Posted:

HSI is currently in an uptrend mode. But the strength is somewhat weakening; Key support and resistance at 25550 and 25816 (likely the trading range for the next trading day); 25483 and 25316 are the next key supports. If 25316 is broken we have a new downtrend. Break above 25816 is considered very bullish.

The candlestick for today itself doesn't look very bullish; but other tech indicators still hint at some further upside.

HSI is likely to sway quite a bit due to SSE's current downtrend. Expect quite a bit of volatility since HSI mainly says up while SSE is downtrend.

Still need energy to break the H2O bonds in water to get the hydrogen for combustion later on. I think not feasible yet.
