agreed. if those paid analysts are so chun, they need not to be employed, they can be warran buffett or Peter Lim liao.
the moral of the storry, being as a trader, be it small timers or big timers, we hv to account to ourselves, esp making decision on trading must be gone thro' a series of homework, though analysts or other news can be a reference.
AK still belive that any suggestion is not a stupid suggestion. For those who got involved in WITS(some say Waste Individual TimeS) before would understand and cherish the practices.
Likewise, if your young kid bringing up a question which he is on doubt, and to the older experienced parents, they felt indeed it is a nonsensical question, pse don't slap him on his face of telling him its stupid question. Tell them the truth and correct him with love, and eventually, he will grow up with bride and the parent as well.
Cheers.
yoh, to be safe, lets treat the market still under buoyant situation, so as to don't give ownself too much hope on the bull side. cautious still the word till market is much clearer.
EU bright green hrs ago. now DJ down 9.5 Nsqd in light green. 15 mins later to close mid day. lets wake up early 2morrow to see DJ 2nd half of the trading day to make decision loh.
foresee profit taking last 2 trading days of the week, if there is no push for STI further.
Agreed. This rally appears to be too sharp an advance in too short a time - seems to be a product of shortcovering positions by institutions rather than committed buying plus retail fervour.
Dow is likely to test 11700 - but there is some serious resistance at 11704-11708. The downside potential for tonight is 11406 (11500 will offer interim support though).
Oil price movement will influence markets a bit - but beware of any unusual resurgence.

I agree totally with elf.
Low volume markets are highly speculative and unstable.

Dear Aleoleo,
When market is up, why should you from time to time full of suspicion.... is it a trap? Several times in the past yes, this time could be different in the environment of crude oil price hike has come to an end (could be in long term downward trend), inflation fading, equity market valuation at comfortable and affordable very very low level, short selling activities diminish substantially, also a good indication of privatisation is more and more on the card as if becoming a trend recently (Due to its listed companies price all at artificially depressed very low price level of every individual listed company, as such it is no longer feasible in SGX listing to maintain for). I strongly believe that TURN AROUND of global equity market is just commencing!!!(CAVEAT EMPTOR)
