STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

End of Dow's uptrend unless it touches 11700 and close above 11698.2 tonight. Not too good to see the current session hit 11491.

For STI - Resistance at 2992 but unlikely to even test that now; supports at 2967, 2947, 2939 likely to be tested. Tomorrow's opening levels could be nearer to 2967, depending on the close for Dow. If Dow closes nearer to 11500, should see a pretty big gap down to 2947 on open.  

 

 

 

 

I think tommorow market will fall because Dow is in bear territory tonight.

Dow almost tested 11700 last night; looks like it got stuck below previous low of 11634 (I think Mar 08 low). Closed at 11632.

This is what happens when mkt gaps up - gap filling. Hence STI's move currently.

Throw in profit taking and Thursday - expect some selling in 1st half. If STI close today below 2982, not too good liao.

We may see some recovery in the afternoon as intraday indicators show oversold for now.

 

 

This is odd, the Nikkei does not seem to have this problem
