I am very surprised and sad with disaster in japan.
Yes, I am indeed happy with first shorting experience with cfd..... Can wait so long to see the profit..... I hope u make from shorting semb marine too ?
I short uob too ! At 18.7x..... Just one lot to try my overbought region.

hello roti, I've been out. Huh..no lah not going to open new positions, closed out s on wilmar today & indoagri much earlier. i'll really like to try US but aiya, gonna be out of town tmr onwards till mid nxt wk. Take a break from messy markets is a good thing, helps clear your mind. )

If for business trip, no choice, but, if leisure, hrr...... Taiwan is not very far from Japan, arent we wrorired about the radiation?
Travel industries will be affected , especailly those dealing with destination that are close to to Japan.

US investors are pulling or have been pulling out funds from Japan and funds going back to US market.
So, investors being kind or not? They have no choice and taking of their pockets are vital despite disaster going on. :)

will not factor in the case of a meltdown ... yet...

2894 ... level to watch for sti .. ema 200 over there with fib line retracement 32.8 i'm holding genting long to get out at about 2.04.. the rest .. im shorting... major levels broken everywhere.. so far my main income to tank for genting is from forex.. but even so .. i might kana margin call lol ... top up account time :D
If you have money now. wait for bottoming out and hunt for bargains.. off my head.. i can think of a few.. but that aside.... let's wait and see how sti plays out.

cmt i buying more for collection of dividends.
i intend to slowly collect good dividend stocks to generate a passive income from dividends.

Don't play the market now. This is no longer a market for amateurs.
Bears will have control till the Japan and Egypt crisis are over.
And I won't be surprise if other bad news hit us before the above are over.
2012 effect maybe?

buy? shouldnt you guys be shorting? nikkei managed to rebound 2% but all this is really speculation. can rebound 5% from today low and drop another 6% tmr. STI also now managed to recover 12 points from low, but really very volatile now.
