Yes, all good investors (incl WB) must also know the art of exiting...

People who invest go " pok!" because they do not know when to exit...

ie. they hold and hold and hold until they go " poka!" ... lol...

To my knowledge a expending company seldom or never give dividends. E only ones i know r mdr n healthway( used to) . As investor i think its not cool. But like developers they dun give dividends. But we r all betting on raise of stocks price. Whatever. This Q they did extremely well. They r currently worth nav 7 cent. No matter what anyone says.. 7 cent is 7 cent. Can they upkeep next Q thats for them to know n us to find out. I doubt it. But i like to think dato n edward r not stupid individuals who simpily have too much to spare. TP 4 unchange. But subject to change. Lol

My apology if people think that I am encouraging selling of Ipco.

I read the forum and someone ask about Ipco profit, valuation and why no dividend is declared.

I merely trying to answer their question.

Go and read Blumont financial report, you may ask yourself why the company is trading at 40cents also.

Lastly, I am not vested. Just trying to help, that all.

PEACE

Investments gain / loss will surely affect share price, although it is only paper gain / loss. Overall Ipco is doing well for the 9 months and should see the price going up, it may not be tomorrow due to BB shorting  but will be in the near future. My TP will be 0.029> 0.035> 0.042> 0.049 if the market sentiment is good. This is purely my view, you trade at your own risk. Thank you.

to the senior traders / investors,

may i assume that this line, 15,237 (3Q) And 35,685 (9 months)

Profit/(Loss) for the financial period

would mean that Ipco has done well?

Financial statement give me headache, can share what else to look for?

Monday 0.035

15,237 (3Q) And 35,685 (9 months)

The stock does not trade by technical and  financial  result alone. What is important to investor is what is the POTENTIAL of this company they are buying a stake in. This set of Q3 results showed that they are on track to achieve stirling performance for FY12. In my humble opinion, why IPCO price may further inch up is because of a few missing info which may serves as further price  catalyst:

1. What are they going to do with the $50m cash?

2. Why are Dato and Edward Lee investing in IPCO? Is there something we do not know?

3. What is the potential of natural gas in China market?

You are making as sweeping statement. Not important to anyway.just wanna say betting cause anxiety and fear which leads emotions in. Investing is more logical and understanding what you buy. So even when if price falls, you can still sleep peacefully knowing it will come back up again. ( that is if you did your homework abt the company). I won't say with 100% it works all the time, since you can't predict what happens in the future. But you wanna reduce the variability

Ipco is not making money from operation and cash flow generated from operation is negative also.

The profit of 50 million thru re-valuation is just paper gain that why no dividend is declared.

If you look at Blumont financial report, it is the same thing. The profit is paper gain from securities they are holding. There is no real operation at all.

I think a few BB grouped together, bought a few penny companies and pump up their stock prices. Then thru' revaluation, all these company look like made tons of profit.

Do not look at their NTA as securites they are holding are inflated.

Any other FA here has other opinion?

Stock market is for making money, and NOT for losing money...

If treating it as a casino can make one money, then why not?

On the other hand, if treating it with the greatest faith can make

one lose a big fortune, then what good is that faith?

Protecting one's money is the topmost priority...

How to believe someone who see stock market as casino, stock as gambling. If you like the idea then follow him. Haha
