what i understand from ig market is that if i want to get the dividend, the earliest that i can sell sembmar is on 27th April 2011. However, do check with your broker on this. different house might have different policy.
for the dividend you will get 31c per share. so if you have 1 lot of sembmar, you'll receive $310.
share price on xd 26th april...... i don't know. it might drop 31c or maybe more?... or maybe drop 20c or maybe lesser? nobody knows

hmmm also have to remember that when ocbc drops, it was the day after s& p downgrades US debt and US big drop that night. most stocks drop on the day.
regarding sembmar, i really do not know. perhaps election rally or our govt wants to give us ang pow, support it during XD? |
