You're always like that one.... *kekeke*

When sold, no regrets  cos it  can always get lower. Look at wilmar, it actually went down a day earlier than Gar.

Buy and hold for long term investment, strategy works if  one isn't buying at multi year high/ peak. Just ask those who  purchased stocks in 2007 with the same investment strategy of not selling to collect dividend yields and stayed  faithful to their stocks. They are still reeling from substantial capital losses albeit only on paper, it doesn't mean  the losses are any  less  painful.

Those who bought the same stocks  in early  2009 would not have to go thru such agony.

Knowing when to invest  is often the  key.

me too !

maybe i might just take noble grp and genting sp and collect them for one year.....

let see how..

ya i agree that there is a difference between investors and traders....

i think you can be both at the same time..... in fact, i might be  working towards that. i still have some capmall trust(cmt) which i bought from 2009. this cmt might be the start of my dividend portfolio.

i'm still thinking if i should and  could create a portfolio of good dividend yield stocks  to collect  passive income..... still working, learning  and experimenting on    this plan..... might just abandon this plan if it does not work ou

Roger on the charts....TA is a must !

Gaecia always linked me with the noble grp..... honestly I collected some at the peak and still trying collect more at 2.0 plus.  actually, my first encounter with noble was at 1.75/1.80 and before 2.1, i have sold off all my holding...

semb mar is also  one of my  favourite counter.... long and short both make money.... even tried the strategy for one day before huge dividend buy up and sell down  after XD.....  (truely cash is king counter)    but also on the return on experience, some good counters like this where i made a few 10 cents and sold off is making me  think the hard way.  my first encounter with sembmarine was at 3.7x and 3.8 and before 4.0...... i sold everything....... if i hold for one year...... from 3.7 to 5.x .....it will be a real profit.

There is a diff between investors and traders...... it seems like nobody can be both at the same time.....do u agree EC

ok thanks!

my chart still looks ok.... anyway, whenever i have open positions  i always have to look at my charts and watch for signs to take action. if i see signs on the chart which i do not like, then no choice have to let go..... no mater what stocks,  action will have to be the same  Smiley

noble seems reasonable.  semb mar and others, it seems to be in a correction period for all oil and gas....

not sure why....

with Cosco's oil platform construction (sevan) not going so well..... u might want to consider the situation..... just a friendly advice...... hope you can take it positively.....
