Sub prime mortgage saga that caused it below NAV. Was at $4.50-$4.80. All properties and banks hit hardest. 1402, please check thoroughly before coming here and curse...lol!

yes, HKLand in USD. Biggest office property owner in HK and some properties in SG, I think Raffles One or something like that which was fully taken up. Trading now at $3.80. NAV $4.00, EPS $0.82, PE only 4.6. Cash flow good....I shd be posting this in the HKLand thread lah!

Better check the NAV per share then compare the price now. If can get anything less then 1 x NAV to 1.5 NAV. I think you got something good. Pls check that the company is not making a loss. E.g. Creative with good NAV but making a loss. This is just my guess, I super duper lousy with fundamentals but personally I think now is the time to look at fundamentals so to buy low sell high next time.  Where is She-Elf? She can help with it.

Yesterday's last hour is also the same.  Best time to get value stock since there may be shortist covering back. I dunno. Making a wild guess on the price retrace at the last hour.

Dun shout down lah! As a whole, as a Singaporean, the STI down below 3000 pt now, we shd be sad! Give chance lah!...Now we tok about value investing...close eye buy and hold for 6 mths SURE make $$ one. Mkt really OVERSOLD now! DBS & UOB $18.80, OCBC $7.75, F&N $4.40, SEMBCORP $4.60. I am not too sure of SPC @$5.25 is cheap or not. ABout SPC, we need to see 2 counters weather, the Oil Price and Uncle DOW. Can be quite stressful. Anyway, keep away now, I go pick up new hobby, see fish...NOT JAWS...hehehe!

dont force your love for investments on your son leh, let nature take its course, my daddy didnt teach me how to invest, but 2yrs ago, i went up to him to ask.

buying OCBC and DBS now is definitely not Ben Graham's teaching. LOL.
