On Friday, Genting fails yet again to break the important resistance at $1.04 and close at $0.985 with HIGH VOL of 0.25 Billion shares traded.

The “shooting star” candlestick with very long upper shadow indicates that the likely hood of Genting breaking this resistance is low though earning report has already announced.

In addition, with both the technical & 61% Fibonacci resistance at $1.04 and 100/200 days moving average acting as huge resistance, we would suggest to profit take before everyone does.

SEE CHARTS
Important Resistance of Genting: $1.04

Immediate Support of Genting: $0.845

Just my 2 cents for all experts' reference. Those who are vested in Genting need to be careful.

no wonder someone said this is the most expansive casino stock in the world...........go check next insight.....hehehe......

Excluding non cash items, GS would have earned around $55 million in Q1. Since RWS was only operational for half a quarter, lets double the figure thereby GS would have earned around $100 million.

If GS were to grow by 50% within the next 3 years, its earnings would be around $150 million per quarter. This gives an annual figure of $600 million. Hence at $1 and with 12 billion shares, the company would be trading at a PE of 20 at best case scenario LOL

i had been to australia casino last year, the 'ang moh' there just put AUD5 for each game...relaxing enjoying the game while sipping some juice/wine/beer.

but in malaysia genting, u can easily spot any ah pek or an-tee 'hoot' the roulette ..buying 18nos out of 36nos, or simply put rm500~rm1000 on each player/banker game...shouting 'picture!picture!' all nite long.

hahahaha......

Well, hopefully next quarter they achieve higher revenue, then the price should be higher.  I am vested on 5 lots bought at 59 cents long ago but not sold yet.  Hope to sell at tp 1.50 hopefully next year.

Laulan      ( Date: 14-May-2010 15:57) Posted:

Actually from the report, the gross profit is $180 million against the revenue of $460 Million.  I am talking about gross profit, so ft means that for every $1 they spent abt 65 cents and made 35 cents.  This to me is great business.

hotokee      ( Date: 14-May-2010 15:46) Posted:

The ratio of revenue and gross profit is appx 37 percent.  It is not 65 percent.  But anyway I think it is potential as you said so.  I believe this share is good for long term.
