Yes, but unlikely for this counter or else the government will stand out for genting sp. A lot of ppl in Singapore nowadays rely on this IR to earn daily income... from cleaner, taxi driver up to BBs... Don't know why, feel a bit sleepy today, may be no extra income from share market, feel no energy...ZZZzzz

If you have watch panic selling, ppls just simply dump
whatever shares they have as if there is no tmr,, e.g
clob shares, sars, and more.

| May be you are right, but I see it in different way. Unlike the last financial crisis, this time the traders don't just simply dump whatsoever shares crazy and madly. You can find some counters with good fundamental conditions and records not drop so much and in fact, everytime it drops, many shares will be bought by another. If you look at the trading volume of Genting sp yesterday, you will know what I mean. Now any single trader try to look for the opportunity in every crisis, they become brave and smart, no just simply a blind follower |

Cheap? Take a look at the chart...
When you look at the price just last March ... Will you still think it is cheap? Do you think the present world situation is in reality any much better than it was in last March? You will be shocked... electrified...and... shivering in your pants when someone mentions the word "stocks" within your earshot... hehehe...

Resorts World Manila (RWM)
is making profits in its First Year. |
|
Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI), the holding company of tycoon Andrew Tan, posted a 12 percent gain in consolidated net income to P2.22 billion in the first quarter of 2010.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange Friday, AGI said it’ net income attributable to shareholders rose 20 percent to P1.65 billion from P1.37 billion a year ago.
Consolidated revenues during the three-month period reached P10.50 billion, up 19 percent from P8.86 billion in the same period last year.
AGI’s property arm, Megaworld Corporation, accounted for 46 percent of revenues during the period, compared to 43 percent from the consumer business, primarily through Emperador Distillers and Golden Arches Development Corporation, master franchise holder of McDonald’s in the Philippines.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization in the first quarter of 2010 amounted to P3.30 billion, up from P2.80 billion a year ago.
“Our first quarter results show AGI’s continued strength in the industries it operates in. We believe that we are reaping the benefits of the business decisions we made in the last couple of years,” said AGI President Kingson Sian.
Sian was referring to expansion efforts under AGI’s real estate and consumer businesses, as well as its recent foray into the tourism industry under a joint venture with Genting Hong Kong Limited (formerly named Star Cruises Limited of Hong Kong), through AGI subsidiary Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc.
“While this is the
first full quarter that we are reporting our share in the net profits in Resorts World Manila and, given that the
facility is not yet fully complete, we are quite pleased by the early indication of the potential of the business,” said Sian.
He added that “we remain committed to building a truly world-class facility, one that can be considered a hallmark in Philippine tourism.”

German parliament to vote
on eurozone rescue
German parliament expected to approve huge
eurozone rescue package
On Friday May 21, 2010
BERLIN (AP) -- Germany's parliament is
expected to approve the huge eurozone rescue package on Friday.
Both
houses of parliament are scheduled to vote on the euro750 billion
(nearly $1 trillion) package drawn up two weeks ago. Germany, Europe's
biggest economy, is to contribute at least euro123 billion in loan
guarantees.
Chancellor Angela Merkel called for lawmakers'
approval on Wednesday, declaring that "if the euro fails, then Europe
fails."
Merkel's center-right coalition has a parliamentary
majority. Two opposition parties plan to abstain and the third to vote
against.
Don't look to GentSp as an example...
It is a special counter...
Just bet and take profit if it comes...

It is good to watch the market on the sideline. Do nothing, Look for good fundamental stocks that has not moved much from beginning of last year. If there are any such stocks,. then buy. If cannot find any, just stop and watch. |
