Becoz now is the beginning of the year, there are many seminars and courses is already posted till Mar/10.  You may visit SGX academy, ShareInvestor, Chartnexus & TerraSeeds Market Technician to find out more of their available short courses & training.

Alternatively, you may consider buying books & magazines to read so as to upgrade your economic & technical knowledge.

But when it comes to the knowledge of the technical applications, hands-on is still a must, therefore, to attend various classes cannot be avoided.  This is becoz everyone has different understanding on the charts and this can be share in classes.  This cannot be learn in books.

Thanks for the advise.BTW do you know any basic fundamental, technical & candlestick courses in the mkt that can recommended?

Hi Jerry,

Its so expensive becoz it is a 4 full days intensive course which include the candlestick and technical training.  If you do not hv the basic understanding of technical analysis, its better not to attend the course, becoz within 4 days, you'll not be able to absorb everything.

If you think the course is expensive, you might think of subscribing to their Xpertrader software which has all the technical information to apply to the chart, so that at the end of the day, it will trigger yr request.  But of course, you must know yr technical tools, so as to apply to yr chart to trigger yr request.  Every 2 wks or 3 wks, they hv the discussion for Xpertrader subscribers.

Although its expensive, but lets think it this way, its an investment for yrself.  If you are serious abt investing whether its for hobby, an extra income or for retirement, it will be worthwhile.

There are many related courses on fundamental, technical & candlestick courses in the mkt held by many different insitutions, try attending these courses first before consider more intensive ones.

i personally think going to library borrow related books and even the major bookstores which u can read up is good enough...and the internet has abundance of such info

i attended chartnexus sessions before and i felt tt they have too many different configurations...always on the lookout for better ones...so many so many formulas ...it will be good to just stick to a few tested and proven ones...if not at the end of the day, u can confused...u lose money

Heard that they have exclusive forum for their member, their trainer will post market or individual counter view in the forum, further more they will have gathering every 2 weeks to discuss sector rotation. Dont this sound good?

Don't spend such hard earned money on such rather expensive course. The organiser will be laughing all the way to the bank - making $100K easily for a class of 35. If chart is so good and reliable, there is no need to conduct such course ! There are so many factors. Of course it will be good knowledge but do spend such money learning it - use common sense approach

I think you would get better ROI by reading books at a fraction of the price.
