TOKYO, Nov 21 (Reuters) - The Nikkei share average rose 0.05 percent on Tuesday as gains in shares of Fanuc Ltd.  and other large exporters were offset by falls in banks and other firms sensitive to domestic demand.
Exporters were helped by the euro's rise to a near record high against the yen, but shares of major banks extended losses after they reported on Monday that earnings from core operations weakened in the six months ended Sept. 30 as competition squeezed their lending margins.
