Hi Seniors,

any commend for this counter. Vested yesterday. Thanks.

Share buyback benefits shareholders as it strengthens the earnings per share (EPS) and return on equity (ROE) for shareholders. Also, dividends per share may be improved (subject to the amount of net income from the company going forward and assuming company maintains same amount of dividends or more paid to all it's shareholders) since same amount or more of dividends is distributed among lesser common shares held by shareholders (after shares have been bought back).

The drawback is that the cash and cash equivalents of the company will decrease after share buybacks. Hopefully, Tat Hong will consider carefully and do share buybacks only at opportunate moments going forward so as to manage it's cashflow carefully.

Now, Tat Hong's share price has already risen from it's low during March. March was an excellent time to buy Tat Hong's shares at around $0.40 plus range. That price range was a significantly good undervalue price to get their shares. Now, it's share price has already risen by 100% from March low. However, given Tat Hong's good fundamentals going forward (with their expansion plans into China and Australia, and strategy to grow their rental business at fast pace which is their current revenue booster), there maybe still incentive for getting their shares at current price ($0.90 plus range) and investing in their business for the long run (more than 5 years).

<This is just my 2 cents worth on the prospects of Tat Hong Holdings going forward. Please dyodd and don't follow my sharing blindly.>

Hi shweli,

Yes, by the "Rules of Recognition", but it does not necessarily means it will turn down, just a warning of caution, as by the rules, "confirmation is definitely required" , which means it must be followed by a lower high n lower low candle to validate the reversal.

Rules of Recognition:

1. The small real body is at the upper end of the trading range.

2. The color of the body is not important.

3. The long lower shadow should be much longer than the length of the real body, usually 2 to 3 times. (fulfils this criteria as it is at 1.8, close to 2 times)

4. There should be no upper shadow, or if there is, it should be very small.

Hope my explanation helps.

Hi Shweli

I saw in my CDP Statement NOL R amount 750. 1) I don't want to hold. I want to sell. If  I sell, I have to pay S$1.3 per share  (NO)

or just sell at merket value (0.200 x 750) and take the money? (YES)

2) What is nil-paid Rights?  You were entitled shareholder to 1000 shares and thus they gave you 750 rights. the ones in your CDP is called nil-paid rights as you have not paid yet.

You can sell your rights in the market, before 2 July, or pay 1.3 before 8 July and they will issue you 750 new shares.

I don't think I'm in a position to suggest getting or selling it off. I can be honest with you and tell you I was 'caught out' at a relatively high price so I'm surely getting the rights to average out my overall cost. However, I'm also one who can wait months to sell off a batch of holdings so I'm in no hurry to get rid of my holdings until I make a profit from it.

The best suggestion I can give is to make a judgement call by yourself rather than trying to follow what people say because like I mentioned, there are people with mixed intentions who might be trying to make things work out the way they hope to be. That said, some people do give good advice and tt's good to listen to what people say and review their facts and beliefs and compare them to your own.

Becareful on this one.

Firstly this one that issue RIGHT, its TP not high (unlike some like Pac Andes / CCT/ etc)

Next, its RIGHT offer not quite attractive. It is worth while to go in for a risk?

And like what yoril_xq say, it seems like manipulate by BB.

Trade with care for this one.
