Good points.  Beverage and spirit business  are safe bet.  Reaching 70 cents is just a matter of time - not an issue

The 'short-selling' season have ended and the BB have accumulated enough. So we should finally see the price dictated by market force. I am gonna hold it for a year minimum and will not blink should it rise or fall within a year? few hurdles to look out for, i.e. the reits spin off, lawsuit with the generals, and the subsequent plans on how TB will butcher F& N for its benefit. It should breach the 70 mark in a year, which will trigger selling? and buying from new investors

Perhaps you might want to research more on the global effect of darkpool on formal exchanges like LSE and the exchanges' strategy aganist the darkpool.

Thanks bro....for your mention, true almost I'll collect my Xmas and CNY from this one. The only thing is that I cannot be greedy....vest over my 50 lots limit, it will lau sai on me. If just 50......then for the whole 3 mths period I can have 5 digits present/ang pow. This year I got the feeling I can see a high 5 digits one. Already more than 2 years this has been trading around this $3-4 range. Now with the CPO picking up so it's a matter of time to see it flying past the $4 to test $5 level. When this one really run...it is hard to chase. My 2 cents

Update on supports and resistances.

Pivot: 7.15

Our preference: Long positions above 7.15 with targets @ 7.62 & 7.85 in extension.

Alternative scenario: Below 7.15 look for further downside with 6.95 & 6.78 as targets.

Comment: a support base at 7.15 has formed and has allowed for a temporary stabilisation.

It often amazed me why a stock with 3-in-one coffee as its main business can rise from 20 cents all the way to above $4 , with so many brokerage houses making buy recommendation???  As I mentioned before , beware of these brokerage houses making such recommendations with not much basis.  After all there are so many companies able to make excellent coffee and what so special about Super Coffee.  Can someone help to explain and enlighten of such phenomena?  I am very puzzled to this date.  It now looks dangerous to hold on to such stock.  Fortunately, I am not vested.

Rotary Engineering - Strong Earnings Visibility Backed By S$1b Orderbook

The stock is currently trading at 7.9x 2014F PE despite gaining 11.9% since our recent initiation. With a strong orderbook of S$1.0b, Rotary is likely to enjoy good earnings visibility over the next 24 months. Dividends are also likely to recover in 2013 and 2014 from a low of 0.5 S cents/share in 2012, providing a dividend yield of 2.3% and 5.0% respectively

Maintain BUY. Target price: S$0.88.

SINGAPORE: Ezra Holdings has secured US$110 million worth of new projects in subsea construction and offshore support services.

Ezra Holdings is a leading integrated offshore support solutions provider for the oil and gas industry, with strong expertise in the mid/deepwater market.

TP ranges from 1.34 to 1.56 for brokerage houses which are poistive on EZRA's growth and potential.

For sceptics it is below 90 cents and to sell.

Who do you believe.

Make your own judgement - you are just as good.

I beleive it will scale to greater height just like EZION

Thanks for the link.  Yes, it looks promising.  Don't forget, it is not ThBev but ThBev & FNN's Beverages.  An extract of your link:

Thai Beverage (THBEV) is formingthe Right Shoulders of Inverted Head and Shoulders after retraced back to the $0.525 support (61.8% Fibonacci Retracement Level). See previous analysis for THBEV.

If the neckline resistance (about $0.60) is broken, the target price of THBEV is $0.69-$0.70 (161.8% Fibonacci Retracement Level).

Read this from other forum :

For the FA investor, here are some nos. to go by:
12.69 cents a share is the NTA of Rowsley.
14.28 is the NTA assuming all the warrants are converted.
Rowsley now trades at around 2.4X NTA.
OCBC in August valued Rowsley at 34 cents after conversion of all the warrants.
In short, Rowsley is trading at fair value now.

Personally, I think 30 or below is a good buy.  My only concern is the idiosyncracies and uncertainty of the politicians in Malaysia.

lglg666      ( Date: 02-Nov-2013 08:31) Posted:

True....no meaning for their NAV of 4 cts now due to the fact that they have not start to price in the units for their project yet. Once they do then we may know but since its a mix use project it can be very complex esp there is a medical hospital plus when PL throw in his holding in Thomsom medical and TCM. So for the actual NAV thingy....it will take sometime to work thru. Btw where does this 16 cts you wrote come from? Mother is at 28 cts and son is at 11 cts. Please enlighten us.

leftovers      ( Date: 02-Nov-2013 06:50) Posted:

yes yes edwin is right, good potential in rowsley

key asset - vantage bay - is understated and undeveloped land at this point. why? because the nav does not consider work-in-progress - substantial value has been added to Vantage Bay - it is ready for sale as early as 2014

the ducks are lined up, and the potential can be realised very quickly

investors will sell house and home to buy Rowsley at 16 cents no

Agree..good comments.

Yes one good quarter is just only a beginning. It shows the execution of its off-shore subseas projects is maturing and moving in the right direction.

WanSiTong      ( Date: 31-Oct-2013 09:29) Posted:

Another problem is low margin!

ezridax      ( Date: 31-Oct-2013 09:27) Posted:

one good quarter is only a start. i don't think more contracts will have a massive impact on the price. Ezra has been winning contracts after contracts, just look at their backlog. Their problem is project execution. This quarter, again, costs has shot up more than revenue. They have to get this under control. Hope the new CFO will be more effective

So the NAV is around S$1.40.

NAV is just a guide and is one of the factors (besides PE ration, earning per share, dividends and growth potential)   to consider when buying a stock.    Market price may be below or above this NAV.  It all depends on how it is being played up and the hype.  For example, the NAV of most banks are all below the current price but for Super Coffee it is way way above its NAV.  For Ho Bee, the NAV is $250 but the price is below its actual value but not very far off.  It is good when there is a takeover bid where the price offered is usually higher than NAV if the buyer thinks there is growth potential.  At times, the offered price may be lower, if the seller is hard pressed for cash or have no plans for future development for the company.  Just my observation.
