Garment now realease the lands to developers to build residential housing.. One day, garment have to buy back for they have to relook at the usage of lands..........
Use the lands to do farming. Perhpas, those in those road got 'kangs' (chua chu kang etc...) can aim for enbloc sales for garment to buy back to plant vegetables or pig rearing farms at psf S$ 2000.00 ...............hahaha!

pharoah88 and yummygd are very strong supporters of this stock. :) Ying Li cheong..................
Why Chinese Property Isn't A Bubble
U.S. Global Investors thinks Chinese property bubble fears are well overblown due to a lack of long-term historical perspective. It's not just about where prices have come from in the last few years, but where they came from twenty years ago.
Thus while price rises may have seemed enormous recently, when put into long-term context, relative to China's massive GDP growth over the last two decades, then the rise in property prices since 2005 doesn't look too wild. The rise in prices has been far less than that of GDP since the late 1980's:
U.S. Global Investors:
Prior to the early 1990s, urban dwellers in China were provided an apartment by their employers or the government, with rent set at less than 5 percent of their salary (utilities included). Starting in the early 1990s, the government began to privatize housing by selling apartments to their residents at a low price. Almost overnight it created a private home ownership rate of about 70 percent.
This policy change was also a vast redistribution of wealth from the government to the people – those apartments typically occupied prime downtown locations, and thus are worth at least the price of a new luxury apartment.
...
The price of housing has roughly doubled since the late 1990s, but it’s important to remember that China’s prices have risen from a much lower base than in the developed countries (among them, Britain, Ireland and Spain) in which bubbles were created.
While admitting that property prices may have gone up too fast in signature cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, even these markets have seen their oversupply levels come down thanks to government initiatives to cool them.
Thus the message here is that China as a whole remains reasonable relative to the growth of the nation's economy and accompanying growth of Chinese spending power. In short, if your people's spending power doubles, then so can property prices.
It would be interesting to see the China property bears' counter to the first chart above.

Pharoah88, are you in the public transport council?
**My only complaint is : (only to those bad drivers) dont jerk the bus and drive the bus properly like when they drive their own dicky!!
How many old folks and pregnant ladies nearly fell while drivers jerk the bus. Even a strong guy on that bus, needed 2 hands to hold
the railings to prevent from falling.
**My most wanted action : Instal CAMERAS in the BUS and MRT Trains!!!!!

IF we could buy some vegetation lands in rural areas of china, and call it our own plantation, then we dont need food supply form others. Or, 'IF' we could relook into some areas in chua chu kang or all the 'Kangs' and punggol where they were once a pig farm or vegetable plantation, we will cut down the need to be reliant on others. The future promising job boils down to farming related.
The roof top project for resh vegetable.looks promising but, it takes some years to

why garments want to do this? I think is the other way round.
Garment knows that is time for market to take a plunge and they dont wanna people get panic, and issue a 'STABLISATION' calls? Makes sense or not? LOL!
boyikao3 ( Date: 14-Apr-2010 15:41) Posted:
Garments always last to the parties. When they start issuing confident calls to growth and start to promise a bed of roses in the future, then traders should start to be cautious (but not panic). Dun anyone find it strange that why garment did not say the future is promising during March lows of 2009 and only start to say that now after the market has rallied for a year?

The rain seems to have paused for the The Bull Charge 2009 to proceed as planned. It's a charity run that has raised over $2 million for 12 charities. Momo was at the run this year. Did anyone of you participated in the run as well?

In the Charity Bull Run held in Singapore year 2008, SGX has donated some raised fund to China Youth devleopment Fund. Some people had raised question why must we donate to these China people where there so many rich people there to help their own country men.........
SGX replied : """"""......The Bull Charge has benefited from the generosity of overseas listed companies over the last five years........Todate, Chinese companies have formed the most SIGNIFICANT group of contributors, thus, for our first OVERSEAs Charity, we selected one from China......"""""
LMAO! this is why China listed company which lost money, still can get listed here?????
