yah man rogue....that jerome, i said i wanted to go shopping yest, and he can ask me for prezzie, but then can say 'he belongs to another'. talk abt wanting to have your cake and eat it too.

hm. shall your missy make a play and nab a new pet for my zoo? muahahhahahahaa.

you've named me three counters: give me your calls on them, and pick one for bet. pick the one you're most confident of being right in the call. let me structure the game tho.

elfie play banker today/tmrw.

*grin*

hold onto ek. likely to do one cent spike ups tmrw and thurs.

same pattern as 20th to 26th apr.

float very very tight alr; techs beginning to show skewed pattern.

cyjjery, you want to contra, smb is a better option. float more liquid. need to time entrance and exit tho.

ek might be a bit difficult to contra large lots since very tight float. if you're buying a lot, might have to sell down the quotes; risk getting caught in T+5 trap this way.

hey, grandma! *hugs*

keke.

no prob....was actually hesitating to post; 'cos i know this current market, esp yesterday, is a bull one, so people never like to hear 'bad news' when things appear fine and dandy. but yea...it's the same story all over again.

yeps, can lock out speculatives if you are holding onto any.

alt is to wait for year end mega rally. esp if you're holding onto pennies: when they make their rally, run as fast as you can, because they'll likely go to sleep for the next 3-5 years.

good luck! :)

ok, no need to watch market liao. story known already. elfie going shopping. keke.

day 2 of bull trap.

market sideways for today; expect later today/wed BB momentum traders to start depression. bleed out contras on thurs, fri, mon. classic T+3,4,5 trap.

nb: they'd have bought in last week, or early yesterday. was seeing busd data for key counters, a lot of large buy ups then. lock a few cents profit and throw to depress px to catch retail contras.

take care, people.

no prob. :)

one more thing to add in:

ek's current NTA is abt 20c. So even now, it's trading at just abt 1.5x book to price ratio. When tianjing and shenzhen start ops next year, you can expect an increase to bottomline. ie, NTA increases. PE decreases. So a fair value rerating will easily support the 52-58c target. That's the FA view.

ie, FA and TA coincides for this counter.

i'm going to be holding on to this one. keke. year end can expect a mega rally (in vic's words, but my opinion too). so at the 42c target, could lock out some if want, or if you see a better counter to buy. if not, just sit in til year end also can. Ride the full three waves for ek. :)

must say, in this kind of crazy market, a snail like ek is actually a comfort. sigh.

paiseh. just realised i made a typo in my previous post. meant 1.13 opening. anw, it's at 1.16 now. very strong buy support, buying from sell queue.

cyjjerry85,

the current target for ek is 32-33c. then a slight consolidation (prob around 30c---might not touch it, it's in negative float already).

after is 42c. then consol.

year end target possible by tech is 58c.

but in case of over-exuberance: a brokerage house's internal target for ek is 52c at year end. (not published. note that abt 5 brokerage houses own ek but they don't publish reports on it)

just fyi.

ok. moving as expected.

techs:

day one of breakout today. indications are that it'll continue tmrw and day after. for tmrw: likely a small gap up at opening (my guess is 1.03 opening), close around 1.17 likely.

note hh at growth spurt stage tends to have a wide intraday range.

pls watch US tonight tho. overall sentiment is very easily affected now. macros matter.

hi rolypoly, to the best of my knowledge, nope, no private msg board here.

if you should like to contact a fellow forumer privately tho, you can request the admin at SJ to send your email addy to the other party. of course, whether the other party chooses to reply or not is up to them.

haha yea. back to serious topic after that diversion. :P

penguin techs, for short term (ie, rest of the week, esp tmrw):

Looks to be peaking. Distribution going on, actually. a lot of retail buy ups; likely a lot of margin players: time of sales for buys are erratic, a clue that it is different small fries being gungho, rather than concerted buys by BB. Supported by a/d and c/o being down since 13th june.

candlesticks show that it's at a plateau: tmrw likely to be up, a gap up at opening, but not likely to be sustainable. upward momentum is actually weakening.

Actually, today's chiong for all counters needs to be discounted. This is likely a bull trap. I know it sounds like a wet blanket, but do be cautious.

haha, i see mister adrianpang is into bdsm eh. :P

and erm. for a sister to imagine her bro in S&M fixtures, there's only one word for it....incest.

cmi. o_0

in any case, we'd better keep this forum clean; don't want dear old SJ to get into trouble....

aiyah, relax lah. new kantangs, elfie will come up with catchy names for them (hm, come to think of it, might not be wise to use VS name, wait kena sued by the real VS people...)...btw, happy feet was what i told vic to name the counter, actually. cute, huh? keke.

act, i call the techs for all his kantangs, whether i post in the thread or not. it's for his reference tho, so unless i'm in that kantang, i dun post out the techs (can't take his limelight after all, his kantangs. keke); let him do the work. hahahaha! eg, i've called techs for him for pohtc as well. not to mention happy feet. not in these counters myself tho, but happy for those who made it! :)

k, time for dinner, cya all! :)

hm, ok, i don't know much abt whatever FA trouble the stock has, but from cashiertan and the other posts below, looks serious.

tech-wise: not good. chaikin has been on downtrend since 13th april at least, a/d even longer, since about 10jan. BB might be taking advantage of current market to run out of htis counter.

busd shows major sell downs for today (altho quite a lot of retail buying): 1,000 lots sold each at 9:23:57 and 9:48:06, and a further 990 lots sold at 9:40:55.

of course, got big buy up too, 1000 lots at 9:42, but majority of pic for large lots is selling.

today's a bull trap on market, practically every damn counter is up. take care, ppl. need to sieve out the wheat from the chaff.

careful of the market today. abnormally high volume. too many counters up on feel-good factor. contra-ists and syndicates out in full force. keep light, keep nimble.

all the makings of a bull trap.

StA: hahahah! at least this time you're listening to me and holding on. not like china energy. :P will continue this up and down, since trading counter as well. but if this macrotrend holds, i'll give you abt another 15 trading sessions to hit the 1.8 target.

check back on you then for my hp. ;)

hahahahha!

cheers to you all. waiting to knock off liao. has been a long week. sigh.

keke, since77, i'm a techie. techies are pragmatists by nature.

as much as i know my kind of TA, i wouldn't rule out the possibility that i'm making money simply because this market is a bull market, that practically any stock one buys will go up. ie, there's the distinct possibility that I might just be lucky.

pays to be cautious. bull and bear market are very different. the real test of a trader is making money in a bear market.

when i can achieve the above, then can consider quitting. before that is premature.

remember, never overstep your techs.

keke. cheers! :)

market-wise, be careful ppl. market appears strong but it's actually weakening; mixed market scenario.

well, at least i'm gonna be on leave next week. so can possibly do some scalp trading. i make more income when i'm on leave than when i'm at work man. haha. not good. sigh.

cheers all, keep happy. Smiley
