These news is better for forummers to go visit the Web link.. than for you to post long lines of news .. which tends to hog up other forummer's posted  views of the market, which is invariably what this forum is for..

The truth is said by WarrenB.. someone didn't take medicine.

And not realising that  there's a reflection of who she is when she types looking at the monitor.

STI gained 47pts today....so like what you said, it will drop 2 time this coming Monday....which is -94pts....WOW...what if it never drop that much ? hmmmmm

sometimes  STI may not follow DOW you know, maybe  sometimes  you are right, maybe  sometimes  you are wrong, that's all right, so do other ppl too....but

with due respects to all comments made in SJ, to call ppl fools again and again is not healthy lah, you know, ppl don't come to SJ as often as you does not mean they disappeared because of what you think or say leh....

ok good morning... time to exit...

LOL, This reminds me of a story:

I went to the casino and this lady keep betting " small" , 9 times, the dice comes up " big"

but she keep persistently bet small, and finally the 10th time , it came out " small"

She is so happy and yells " Kan Dao mei you, Wo Shi tui de" (translated in eng : see or not, I will be right)

Then she walks away, losing 90% of what she has and left with only 10% of what she has brought in. LOL

IMO: There is no one who can tell you 100% that there will be upside or downside in a counter
I think stockmarketmind (aka Ronald) has done pretty well in having his own blog and analysis,
And he did post threads BEFORE the move, which I believe many others with foresight have seen and benefitted.
Most importantly, he does not hog the forum by repeatedly posting successful predictions, as some ppl do here (," )

Always beware, the person who tells you blatantly to " SHORT SHORT " or " BUY BUY..." is more misleading and dangerous, and one needs
to @@ clearlyy, else one will kana " SHOT SHOT" and " BYE BYE"

I think most have forgotten the majority of your posts since last dec. Everyone knows the prices now. Your past calls to short and asking people to short, where does it stand now? Are you truely doing any good by daily posting bear calls? Can you explain why everyday post bear calls since weeks or months back?

These are some excerpts (" ,)

Thanks for sharing (" ,) Good to see someone sharing their knowledge (," )

settowin      ( Date: 13-Jan-2012 12:45) Posted:

Do you know why I said, garhman lost out when COE came down?  It is just arithmetics. Every year your COE Value (PARF) depreciates by 10 percent. until 10 years later, it becomes zero.  If you pay $100K for COE, that money goes to the garhman first from the issue of the certificates to car companies.  Then if refund (cut off, scrap of by accident or by expiry) the refund you will  use up again for a newer car which has a new COE of 100 percent given to the authorities.  So actually your burn rate is 10percent on the car asset (not including other expenses for usage).  HDB flats are in some way similar, but it takes a longer time, 100 years (,i.e. 99 year lease) to use up the money.  So stock markets by right should move upwards and not downwards to match the inflationary value of things.  Now it looks mostly  like the opposite.  STI should cheong. Singapore Huat Arh!!!

settowin      ( Date: 13-Jan-2012 12:24) Posted:

Ya, they were very lucky.  Only the garhman lose out only.  I don't know if this is also a gimmick.
