Seems like the billions of dollar "human created disaster" coming again. Maybe we do not have natural disaster like most countries, that's why we need to create one so that the country can start to allocate disaster budget... I think the country "should" have saved up a lot of money all these year since country do not need to spend billions on disaster yearly... I hope.... lol.... Smiley

After spending billions of dollar on the flood control for the so many years, the flood still happen like those olden days. And worse, the PUB do not actually know what is real reason, and even worse by pushing the blame to the global warming. Who should be responisible for these? hmmm... Smiley

The only way I see is to cut the top executive pay by 40%. They are overpaid for the least responsibility job. Their pay cut can bring in more capital to lower wages worker and also have more good quality projects too. But... no top people will want to see their own pay cut... Got to wait for the serious global crisis that last many years in order to see this happen... lol.. Smiley

How many crash you can wait to buy in in 1 life.... My feeling always tell me to trade both directions...  Don't understand why some like to buy on dip only and not short on high.. how much fund you can use to keep buying on dip...  Those who short or take profit before crash are now cash rich to take more opportunity... Gd luck! Smiley

I have been investing for over 10 years and I think STI is in a precarious position right now. The odds are slowly but surely stacking up against further upside. Speaking as an ordinary investor, the correct call for fellow ordinary investors is to watch at the sideline, and NOT to buy. When it falls, it falls spectaculary. If it climbs a little, it does not matter because you have nothing to lose.  There will be better buying opportunities ahead if one is patient.

I am holding to cash right now as my investment objective is modest.  I only aim for 3% to 5% returns to beat the inflation.  Better be safe than sorry.
