interest rate  = SIBOR +/- 2.5%
i have no problems placing my order.
for DMA,  it works like a cash account. so i can queue at any price that i want. but i realised that alot of times, for my order to be filled, the bid-ask price need to drop by 1. for example, if i queue for noble to buy at $2.  most of the time, i will  get it if the bid-ask on sgx.com is showing $1.99-$2.

please tell me it allows me to place my order in one go.. no timed-out ..etc crap?
wat about the daily interest rate?
and is there a difference between cfd and cash acc in terms of queueing to buy/sell ?
my CIMB cfd acc works exactly the same.. like counter A,
buy queue 100 buy price $1 sell price $1.01 sell queue 100
if i queue to buy 1 lot at $1, i will see
buy queue 101 buy price $1 sell price $1.01 sell queue 100 (assuming noone place any trades)..
is that correct?
or CIMB cfd is different from other cfds ?

great... i think i still got a lot of to learn from this cfd thingy..
CIMB cfd is just like cash account trading (the way i place/queue/etc)..
now i have tried for more than  10 times.. just to try out 5 lots on GAR.. it still doesnt allow me to queue.. !!!
crap..

the prob is.. i dont even have the chance to place an order !..
i clicked watch list.. put in the buy/sell price and quantity.. then put limit..etc
and the confirm button disappears... and then the whole thing got jammed -_-

yes!!!!
that is the thing that pisses me off too! there was once when i log in at 3.30pm and city index counters are still " closed"
i also called them many times about this issue

i  have used city index and switched to ig market.
i prefer ig market's platform. but city index's $10 flat rate is really good if you don't mind not having DMA model

but i'm slow  coach to learn new  platform so just stick to it with preset stop orders and limit orders running.  Just live with the  costly imperfections... what gets my goat  is the  post lunch break opening time, then  I will  juz  pickup the handset  to scold them  for  screwing clients.    $#%$#^
See, i so  nice right? Kekeke..
lol..
i keep losing connection.. -_-
not tat i don wanna listen la.. $10 flat rate leh.. it's really good ma..
so wat do u suggest ? which platform is better?
Gaecia ( Date: 26-May-2011 11:59) Posted:

You shouldn't use cityindex, crap like dunno wat and its platform very unstable (unreliable) will lose connection any o how and then prompts u to relogin again.
tsk tsk... u never listen to Gaecia.
