It is manipulative cuz it is the the cheapest blues amongst the STI components. Based on FA, with some patience. Let's hope we can see light at the end of the tunnel.

What is ridiculous is 31.8mil shares transaction out of the 42 mil are by the big players that charted the price down south. 5 trades made the day. sad, dun trade such counters man.

believe me we seen worse. this is quite normal when there are shorters trying to push price down to buy in again. not shorting/contra is the only way this share is going to go up. anyway the Crude palm oil prices and demand are recovering. fundamental would hold. results wont beat last year but it sure will be more profit |

Palm Oil sector will be down for quite some time until the next turnaround. 1. Soya Bean Oversupply, Falling Demand and Falling Prices. That is why, Pineagritech is down. 2. Palm Oil Oversupply, Falling Demand and Falling Prices. 3. Original Soya Bean Customers who switched to Palm Oil due to Higher Soya Bean prices are now switching back to Soya Bean. 4. Previously overflowed demand for Palm Oil from Soya Bean customers are no longer there any more until the next Soya Bearn Price Hike. 5. Palm Oil BioFuel was only a dream.... Abandone Ship for Palm Oil. Either sooner or later. |

I slightly differ. NTA would not lower unless the company makes losses. The news you mentioned was more than a month back. 60% lower is still profit and would improve shareholders' value. Frankly, I do not see the NTA at 23 cents. cheers. |

I do not disagree with you. But then again one has to assess the type of business of the company, and understand the reason why profits were down during the first half of the year. This is a cyclical business, it rides with DD and SS.

If you see a company's profit dropping by more than 60 per cent 2nd Qrt and first half, are you still going to go by the books? Actually, if you are stuck, the best solution is always there. My value is far below what it is trading now, not so nice to put a figure to it, since the company's nta is roughly 23 cents though the group's is abt 60 cents. Let us wait and see how the shipping and palm-oil exports fared in the coming months to really see how far this counter can go. |

This is the reason why i asked the intrinsic value of GA. If the is price above the traded price now then there is no reason to fret. Cuz its the people who are driving the yo-yo px, but soon they will be exhausted from the game, and this counter will trade at its real value. NAV = Intrinsic value? If NAV = S$0.60, and currently it is trading at S$0.45, that will give us more than 20% margin of safety. I say, buy and hold. It should see light soon. Cheers! |
