China Environment today announced that it has turned in profit after tax attributable to shareholders of RMB80.7 million ($16.2 million) for the twelve months ended 31 December 2010, a jump of 50% over the previous corresponding period.
The group also saw an increase in revenue of RMB546.6 million ($109.9 million), 9% more than the RMB499.6 million a year before.
Sales mainly came from the waste gas treatment segment, which saw the completion of 42 projects, with five ongoing projects as at 31 December 2010. In FY2009, the group completed 30 projects and had eight ongoing as at 31 December 2009.
The largest share of revenues for FY2010 came from customers in the power generation segment which contributed 93.6%.
