Can someone who's good at fundamental analysis and reading financial reports please explain to me what is going on in the Thakral 1HFY11 report?

At one point they say profit attributable to shareholders is $3,532,000... the very next page they say that due to Other Comprehensive Loss for the period/quarter is suddenly a whopping -$3,354,000... leaving only $266,000 of comprehensive income for the shareholders??

Sorry it's my first time reading a financial report in such detail... Am I also right to say that their total Administrative Expenses for 6 months ending June 2011 totaled $8,301,000? Exceeding their total profit for $4,297,000?

All assistance in devouring this beast of a report will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Consumer electronics distributor Thakral Corporation reported a 2% drop in revenue to $108.3 million for the three months ended Mar 31, 2011. However, earnings were up 1% to $2 million as margins improved to 7.4%. The company says the supply situation appears to be gradually returning to normal after the earthquake in Japan.
Thakral said it had sufficient inventory to meet customers’ requirements when regular supply of goods for resale was disrupted. Meanwhile, Thakral says it is making progress in the investment of real estate projects in Australia.

Thakral: 2Q10 profit up nine-fold on sale of logistics firm stake.
nine-fold to S$29.8m, mainly due to a one-off gain from the sale of its stake in logistics firm, Gateway Distriparks.

Excluding the sale, net profit would have been lower at S$3.1m, from S$4.1m a year ago. Thakral aims to expand its

Thakral Corporation, the consumer electronics distributor with business in strategic property and equity investments, says it posted a net profit of $11.8 million for FY09. This was achieved on the back of 15% rise in FY09 sales to $438.8 million, a turnaround from its $20.9 million loss in FY08. The group achieved a net profit of $5.8 million in Q4FY09 — reversing a loss of $11.2 million in Q4FY08. The improved performance in FY09 and Q4FY09 — the fourth straight quarterly net profit which began in early FY09 — was partly due to higher sales and improved profit margins.
