Hi My apologies! Just check on Bloomberg website: http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/HIH:SP Earnings announcement on Fri. 22Feb, probably after 5 pm. IMHO, this is one website you can check on the fundamentals to give u some assurance on this is no " punting" stock and without " fundamentals" . But like some SJ participants say - price may not move fast based on " organic" growth the BB's need to push it Up. In time - if the BB's get bored with their 'usual' actvitivities - hope they come round to look at this counter. Best regards Vested

This counter also do about 2-4% share buy back every year. only concern is that one of the major taiwan shareholder just sold some shares (small stake though) and also lack of trading vol. otherwise the counter looks attractive from all other angle. Vested |

Hi, Just to add to prev. post: http://www.sgx.com/wps/portal/sgxweb/home/company_disclosure/company_announcements http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/HIH:SP Final 4Q2012 results seem to be slightly delayed. Notwithstanding , based on 3Q12 results - it is expected to be much better than 4Q2011. From the SGX link and 3Q report - it wuld appear the company is debt free and has a very strong balance sheet and profitability which is not factored into its price yet(see courtesy of Bloomberg website). A potential proxy play into Taiwan mkt. Best regards Vested

I think so. Sorry for the" bad patch" in the middle of my earlier posting. What I want to attach is the techinical analysis chart c/w with the indicators but not sure how to do it. The negative on this counter currently is the low volume of trading -definitely not meant for punters etc. Best regards Vested |

Hi Attractiveness of this counter, info taken from courtesy of Bloomberg : 1. High dividends: ~7% 2. Low Price to book : 0.54 3. PER - 11.7 4. Last 3quarters result in > 40%. 5. Next earning announcement coming soon -expected in 15 Feb.
