I was following this Ah Tan posting, he state that a turning window or something of that sort, was quite true, and he did memtion either it turn down or up big.but after that he stop posting altogether, hope he is alright. I dont think he can be that easy to be anger by people here, by the way he post aqnd decided not to do posting.

I wish him well, but his 13500 maybe a too optimistic, i think 12500 is achievable, but again who know? Wish him well.Good luck Andrey.

I m looking for opportunity to short genting and stxosv, but some short position in Hang seng still open. tonoite i think got no chance dow look strong.

hope you got no MF acc.

i believe long time to settle to get a little of your money back, to get all will be very lucky.

I only got acc with philip, Lim and Tan, and CMC.

my friend a T3B guy got his acc stuck, even his memtor got theirs stcuk too, headaches!!!

so a lesson learn here is , now and then, withdraw your money if got profit, dont leave alot there, just enough for margin and trade.

but what abt the trade that is still on???that is the risk we take, if  we want to trade, cant be help.

my suggestion...is

If recession by 1 Quater, then result of negative GDP will be reflected in the month of Apr 2012,

but last Q of 2011 may still be in positve, so mkt may still rally a little more till end 1 Quater 2012

i dont know what your reaction will be, but if i have unit trust or stock that i long, i will make use of any rally to sell to strength. For if recession really hit, you are going to see your stock price go even lower from here. It is going to be very pessimistic for the recession, and it may get worse with this euro debt crises , those indebt state will default with their economy down, with no means to refinance or pay their debt.

let see, and hope for the best, no harm if there are no recession , we can always get back in, but if there is one, then we may be caught again , but this time it is going to be really stuck in it.

If  13500 is hit, it will get above 14000 and so on....Already Bull run.....  Trade with tools like TA or FA and not by feeling, or else you will end up losing more.....

If DOW can stay above 10K is already doing a blessing...

PM don't talk rubbish like other house, so  mostly it will happen.

For long term, trust him. For very short term, find your own way to win.

my freind in a electroninc factory said half of the machine on production floor are left idling.

things certainly look   bad,..

prepare for the worse, have stop on all position, not the time to long, except for short term of 2 to 3 months.

You are looking at cause, I'm looking at effect.

The problem with looking at cause is that the effect can be immediate, delayed or no effect at all.

If you slap someone, the person can slap you back immediately, or he can wait a few days and then slap you or he may not slap you back at all. You run aways first before knowing if there is any effect at all.

The problem with looking at effect is that it can happen too fast for reaction.

If someone is about to slap me, I can see that slap coming and step aside to avoid that slap, or caught off guard and got slapped. I've to be very alert to see the effect before it happens.

Each of our ways have its own pros and cons, just don't act Too Slow or Too Fast.
